Crashes like 2 seconds after I unfreeze time after turning SmartZoi on, even without prompt instructions.

I'm playing with a basically fresh game (I saved my 5-person family as presets and their house and started a new save with all of them).

Playing with boosteroid, so the machine should be handle to handle this. I had it working before the last 1-2 hotfixes on non-minimum graphics...

I like that I can take control of my Zoi for most of them now, but I also love that I can just not to and so something else. I hope it always remain like this. The new delivery job is not autonomous, and quite useless to me since you have to babysit it all the time. However, it IS fun and I can see playing that when playing a lone zoi.

Does anyone ever wonder what would Inzoi look like if it took another year to release without all the feedback they have received from us? Would it have been even close to what we have now

In some regards it would be worse.
But based on 0.1.0 it probably would have ended up much better in other aspects.

0.1.0 had a charm which is partly gone now, too many things removed and remodeled.

• Game felt slower, less activities but in exchange you had more control of what your zois would do. A lot more.
• Game was SUPER well balanced for the 96min time per day. There was no artificial needs tempering through routines or code to eat at X, and sleep at Y. I had Zois go to sleep at 5am and wake up around noon. It worked well (until I gave them a job). Once they changed the default to 48min it REALLY REALLY messed those up, and they're still messed up today.
• The dining code was much better. Zois would eat their favorite food, and grab small meals when they needed just a little.
• You had Karma, which though minor, was a nice touch. Also you could play "god mode" and reward/punish NPC behavior.
• Zois did not feel as "hyperactive" as they do now. They did stuff, but they "chilled" a bit more in-between. Their most recent behavior is not bad per say, it makes them a lot more alive, but sometimes you'd want them to chill.
• Babies did not require as much work as they do now. They're a bit over doing it now.
• The UI was much much MUCH better. No contest. Though they would've needed the blocky one for players that wanted a bigger UI. It was an error to get rid of it... They said they're bringing it back, but honestly it's taking forever.
• At least they fixed the aging... mostly. And they are one little change more away of fixing it way better than 0.1.0 ever was.
• Child zois would auto-join an adult when the adult would go do the laundry, provided the child had that preference.
• And now we lost the hangouts at school after class. It is minor (as is much of the above) but it matters a lot. Such a shame.
• Removal of some of Enneagrams/traits really sucked as well. Original concept was better.

The atmosphere of the game felt quite different because of all the above.
BUT it does not mean they wouldn't have removed them themselves without us, heh
It also does not mean they wont add/fix these things back in... But I don't feel they will and that makes me sad.

Those are my thoughts on it. Was these changes fueled by players or by the devs? Probably both.

I think the feedback has been incredibly valuable for the development of this game, especially since Kjun has told us their team is new to life sim and didn't have a lot of experience in what a life sim should be like.

Of course there's always going to be changes that some people don't like but I think you have to look at the big picture

We can't tell why some features you mention @rare cedar were removed. Might have been for technical reasons we can't phantom. Maybe the ennegram wasn't compatible with the whole emotion system they added, and i find the emotion system a lot more valuable than some ennegram that was only text and not visible in the Zoi's behavior. To name one example. Sometimes compromise is necessary for the game to improve and perform better.

I personally am disappointed at the direction Inzoi took in regards to residents vs NPC. I am the kind of person who would rather have a less crowded city with only zois that are actually living in a house in the city than these masses of NPCs that are used to make the city feel alive. I know Blissbay, Dowon and Cahaya will probably never change into the direction I want. I have a small hope for canvas town but not sure that'll be entirely what I'm looking for either. But it's fine because Inzoi can be its own thing, it doesn't have to have the Sims 3-esque open world i prefer.

Honestly, what the inZOI team is doing, with their weekly communication and willingness to take the time needed to flesh out the game, feels like a really promising sign for the future. I’d much rather see a game company take its time developing the game properly than rush things and release a half-baked product just to meet deadlines.

One thing they should focus on, at the very least, to improve InZOI is fix the needs depletion rate.
Needs depletion is a bit bugged since either 0.7.0 or 0.8.0 (lots of my zois are going to sleep at 3am).
But also needs recuperation, eating takes a tad too long, drinking takes far too long...
And an empty sleep gauge refills in 4 hours (typically 3 hours from 25% left in the bar). (playing 96min time)

As far as Zoi behaviors go, this should be fixed asap.
Removing the artificial (ie: quick and sudden) depletion of hunger and sleep and rebalancing depletion rate would make the game feel much better.

It's been borked since they made 48min the default, but was already a bit of an issue before that.
Very sad they are ignoring this issue for so long.

Why can't you access Canvas in-game anymore since the update? its ridiculous trying to sort through supporting mods now you can't see previously downloaded mods on Canvas through the website

Evidently they found some 'serious' issues with in game Canvas just before the last launch and decided to take it out at this release.
Though I do not know if Team Inzoi has weighed in on the issue.
But it sure led to a lot of confusion when the streamers had it and then it was gone at release.

Girllll I'm at the point of deleting everything and redownloading, everything was synced and validated but still not showing up. Common issue atm where a popup asks you to sync or continue when you log on and my dumbass pressed it without reading ofc and all my mods got deleted (but still showed in game)

same thing happened to me last week I had to to a hard refresh on my game and delete all my saved data then go reinstall every mod again. I turned off cloud save on steam and I'm extra slow with with pressing of buttons now when im opening that FA in game curseforge.

I would use nexus but its so convoluted adding the mods in correctly.
