inZOI is such a great game, I really love it 😭🎮 but there’s a small downside with traveling between cities when you fly to another city, your car just disappears, which kind of ruins the feeling of exploring and moving around.
But that’s just my opinion ✨ overall the game is really amazing and I think it will develop a lot more and get even better in the future 🚀

dowon has the most weather changes i see. ive heard bliss bay doesnt get much (which fits it being based after california and all) and cahaya has more chances of heatwaves and/or natural disasters

Though anybody using the house (once I put it on the Canvas), can remove beds and rearrange.

Dowon is nice but the need to unlock the left side of the city with more housing. It really lacks the population that Bliss Bay has. Get unlucky at the begining with the random allocation of those NPC families and your kids will have nobody at school for years.

Tonight we're building a new map. With the new canvastown planned, I was thinking of making a town/village based on Kirkwall for the weather/terrain and basic layouts, but must also include a "Big Ben" in the city square, and in the nort-east corner of the map a spot for large lots called "Castle Row" which obviously will mean for mansions and stuff. Could you generate a map view of such a settlement using the inzoi-style of "Map view" we get ingame ?

I think we can't put our own lots like Sims 3 but can edit more stuff than just lots themselves

What irks me is that tiny size. CanvasTown being 1/8th of dowon is... bad.
Granted, dowon uses maybe 1/3rd of it's map to begin with but still.
Without "space to breathe" I feel I wont be able to create my vision.
Not enough room, plain and simple

No idea, I mean the game comes with a lot of pre-built houses for all the different lots, some are ugly, other are very nice. So those could be used. As for the map itself, I hope it is like Cities skylines, where you have a terrain tool and you can raise/lower, paint grass or desert / etc, add trees, roads, bridges of different material. So there could be a basic "slab" of whatever biome you pick, and you shape it how you want.

At least that's my hopes

Then you'd add buildings and props (which are "Baked-in" as in non-interactable

yes, those will be rare and most likely DLCs.
If they are of BlissBay/Cahaya quality it will be well worth the money.
If they are of Dowon quality (lots of wasted space, very tiny interactable place / not a lot of residential lots) then it will be less appealing (unless very well designed).

But more is always better !

Plus devs might design small Canvastown of their own.

Even if it were more of a ‘prop’ that follows you around or stays on your lot, much like how it’s done in Stardew and Dinkum, I think it’d be a nice touch for the base game until a proper pet sim can be addressed in DLC. Just my 2 cents, btw. No official word from the devs yet on a pet DLC or whether pets will be part of the base game...
