Some could be aquiered via specific careers, rng drops while travelling in the time machine in ambitions or exploring the mausoleum

I also remember how I stole a treasure from the tomb in France and my sim activated a pressure plate and got trapped between lightning, and it asked me to put the treasure back, so I offered up a slice of spoiled cake instead and it worked 😭

Also prom in the sims 3 actually felt special despite being a rabbithole. In the sims 4, even though it's a live event, it's just extremely annoying and completely ruined the experience

Cause I get a promt to go literally every single week (despite me being a dropout) and if I dont go, I get a resentment with my partner 😒

It lacks more alot of things. They could've improved game during the decade the game was out but all they could focus on was pricey DLCs nobody asked for

But on inzoi we can ride a boat, scooter, moped, car, manually or automatically.

Early access is a lot of waiting and update adjustments. We are basically playing with a development stage product. And things are very fluid and subject to change while in development. I think a lot of players might need to put this game on the back shelf of their gaming library and play something else until full release.

However we had way more ppl complaining of "Nothing to Do !"
I guess those urge and automatic "poping events" they added since to "shape a zoi's day" (which I find very annoying 7/10 times) are made for those players.

I had no problem with nothing happening at home if I made my Zoi stay at home and paint all day.

Currently mods are only supported on windows atm so anything outside of that is not guaranteed to work since it’s not natively supported, with that being said it’s best to always refer to the mod author for help since they are the ones that found a work around are likely the one to best help ya

InZOI is a one off for me. I usually am not into life sims. Never was. (well if you exclude sim city and later cities skylines). But this game grabbed me HARD. 😉

The graphics caught me. The character creator with all of it's traits and different looks possible...
Then I watch about 4 hours of pre-release gameplay from like 2 creators...
I had the game the next night.

Graphics grabbed me, gameplay made me stay.
I really didnt (and still do not, for the most part) care about the driving.
But what makes the game great is all of the little things.
I like large family, someone else likes driving, other running businesses... Other playing a lone zoi in a tiny apartment in Dowon for 30 hours straight. Just a great game, even if I complain on it (to make it better!) often.

Paralives doesn't even really have AI (and by AI I mean the kind that decides character behaviours), so im not even sure if NPCs even have behaviours

It's also concerning that the release is supposedly around the corner, and the majority of info about the game is still locked behind a paywall

We need an adolescent look scaling in height this is the most pressing issue for staying immersed in family. They grow straight from child to adult size which is ... uuurgh.
Then later in a future pack I'd be all in for preschooler. Default age lenght woudn't be too long, but it would be the missing link. But they'd have to do a lot of work for that age group, whereto it's only a cosmetic issue for adolescents.

InZoi uses Unreal Engine and the amount of prop assets available is enormous. I think the reasons they don't release a lot of build and buy content are several. They felt their pattern system was versatile enough to create a range of styles, which for the most part it is. They also probably expected a lot more modders to create these assets, because similar games like The Sims and Second Life have a ton of modders. And last they will probably create DLC in the future for these assets

We're so close to the game allowing me to re-play my Cahaya farming save.
With the new aging scaling, you can edit the .ini file and tweak the number which makes it even more precise than my "Precise Age Group" mod.

But realistically, all they would need to do is change those setting so you set the length of the age groups you wanna change in DAYS, and it auto-fills the .ini file themselves. They are very very close to that and could easily make it happen, not kidding, they are, as we say, an "inch" away.

The other change I cannot fix is the sequential farming that I want. Like I want to click remove ALL weed, or fertilize ALL crops... But it is a deal breaker for me if it's just one instant click then POOF, done. It feels cheaty and breaks immersion. My Zois need to do the work, that's doing the farming itself. Else it feels like another rabbit-hole job.

If they fix the farming thing and push that extra inch on the age group length settings (and I can edit the ini file myself if need be for the latter) then I'm jumping in for a replay of my grand Cahaya farming family adventure! 🙂

You can try Rags to Riches. Create a criminal Zoi and play the crime system. A romantic charmer Zoi and see how many lovers you can juggle at once. A genius Zoi and try and max out all skills. A business owning Zoi and open a business

You can customize one of the worlds by removing the game created families and replace them with your own. Give each family their own lore
