Metahumans is an Unreal Engine plugin for character creation. InZoi already uses Metahumans, Zois are Metahumans. So now we can use the MetaHuman plugin and integrate directly into the game. We can technically already do this with faces, but only for the Maya plugin and no modder I know of uses Maya

For the community team in case you're unaware, this is related to gamesradar saying the game is planned to go full launch on march 2027. But tbh, I don't believe Kjun said that. We need to split some of the sound settings too.
Like the emotion song (which change on character switch or emotion switch) should be uncoupled from the "UI Sound" setting.
And the In-Game music/background/map music needs to be split in 2-3 options as well.
It's really annoying I cant set the UI sound to maximum without having the emotion cue music destroying my eardrums.

Kinda wish they add about scanning their surroundings like nearest closet, food on the table, don't autonomously use bathroom that's in use. They did improved about farming surrounding plots

The closet thing was one of my first suggestion.
I have a list I compiled in May, after a full month of playing.
Going to nearest closet was already on it, lol.

When I speak of core issues, it's all of those "mosquito issues" which are annoying, stings a bit, but you can still have fun.

I really wish they would uncouple the needs from scaling from the 48min and make them a unique setting per time/day setting.
They broke those when they made 48min the new default, and it was never really fixed properly.
A 25% sleep gauge zoi goes to sleep at like midnight and is full by 3 am (96min time setting). 25% - 100% should take 6 hours (8 hours for a 0% bar). Then there's eating which suffers from artificial depletion around 7.00am, Noon, and 6.15pm still and messes up the "over time" depletion that worked so well in earlier versions of the game.

That's also a mosquito bite, but that one is more annoying to me.
Anyone that does not play 48min gets stung by this one, and even 48min players find their zois are "eating too often".

As 1.0.0 comes closer, I hope they fix those nagging issues.
It would greatly improve the game.

I just can’t wait to get our hands on script modding hopefully we can do all sort of things with no limitations.

Hopefully we get access to the blueprints the game has so we can modify the character blueprint and such.

Wonder if we’re going to have to cook the current mods again to make them work. If so, hopefully we don’t need to do that again in the future unless we change from UE 5.6 to 6.0 or so.

For me some come to mind:

• Changing how animations are done to allow height sliders.
• Fixing hair and eyes to not be reflected as black blobs.
• A system to allow masking with texture when working with clothing mods for more detailed masking to avoid clipping.
• Adding new sockets for other stuff, maybe a shoulder socket to be able to have purses for example.
• Adding jumping, crouching, parkour (jumping over fences), etc.
• Adding animation variations with cascadeur.

I’m sure it would, as it’d be the same BP being changed, or the same skeleton etc, load order and disclaimer of what is being affected will be a must to identify conflicting mods

Maybe as modders we can share our projects in GitHub so we work on each others stuff to add more to it instead of working independently for every little thing

It depends on what kind of crash you’re getting, some people are getting crash when they load up a save, others when enabling smartzoi, others when choosing a map to play

No all of a sudden it would just freeze and then crashes. It’s been raining in my city now for like four days.

I had crashes and it was related to 2 things:

• overlays (discord, steam, NVIDIA), disabling all overlays helped.
• AMD Anti-Lag crashes, caused by NVIDIA Low Latency Mode. Changing the settings for the game in NVIDIA to disable low latency and max performance fixed it for me.

Have you disabled all your mods if any? Just to be sure, also validating the game files from Steam some times fixes issues

How do I validate the game files on steam of never done it before I can try that? I don’t understand. I have a really powerful computer and all of a sudden it’s just started to crash before. It didn’t. Whatever the last update was. That’s when it’s starting to crush a lot more.

If after that you’re still crashing I’d report it on the forums with your save, a DxDiag of your PC and the latest crash logs.

DxDiag you can get it by pressing windows key + R, then type DxDiag, wait for it to load and then click on save at the bottom it will save everything as a txt file

The crash logs I don’t remember the path let me see if I can find it on the forums

You can copy that and paste it on the address bar of any folder you open and it’ll go there

Before you post it I’d recommend reading some of the reports on the forum, if they sound like yours I’d recommend adding a reply with the info (game save, DxDiag, crash logs as a zip file so you can upload it to the forum post).

If none of them sound like yours then yeah add a new one.

It’s good to check the forums as some people have found workarounds in some cases that might be worth a try, like this one:

Right now it feels very much like I'm fighting with the game to have my Zois engage organically in a group..Constantly cancelling out actions or chasing the other Zoi as they wander away. I feel it's something to do with the autonomy, it is set so high that Zois always have to "do" something, even when it would make more sense for them to be idle
