You have to make it. I think the highest ranked rod you can buy is steel or is it Iron dont remember.
But you can buy rods at the fishing supply store.

Yep but you need high skills in both gathering and crafting. It would take some while just go get those.

In a nutshell it is a long grind to get to that point. And afer that its even a tougher grind to actually catch the shark.

It could days weeks, months, depending on how much you play.

na i got 1TB and nowhere near max rn but the hotfix isn't compatible w newer/high end systems. the team conf that too but there's alot of ppl mad under my forum post rn that we have to even dilute our settings to run the game since no hotfix has dropped to fix what the last one did

It's 99% perfect (since the percent bar likes to jump between 3-5% by pixel, sometimes you may have trouble getting the exact length of age group you want, even with the game auto-rounding to nearest integer), but it works really well otherwise.

Not too bad, only took me like... 4 hours total to do it, including the art on the mod's icon/title.

Scripting mods will be a game changer, I think. All of the specifics that the devs can't or won't get too for whatever reason can be supplemented by the community.

I'm not big on mods that change the game- I'm more of a cosmetics/object type of player- but for those who really want to tweak the game, it's great that there are modders happy to try and do it

Well the Age Group sliders are a CORE mechanic of a game like this.
It is super important IMHO and we should not have to rely on mods, no matter how good(or bad) they are.

Like Enneagrams are supposed to be for relationships and a zoi's "soul" before we throw some quirks (characteristics) into it...

The thng is not everyone is as dissatisfied with the age groups as you appeared to be. For me the age groups work fine, so the core mechanic of them work as intended. But again, glad you were able to create a mod that satisfies your vision and I'm certain others will to.

feels weird to play a life simulation game without any say whatsoever from the vanilla/non-modded game
I mean sure we got the 0.25-0.5-1-2-4 but that's so limiting... quite insufficient.
Not saying it cannot be that way, but to me it feels too limiting.

It was a start, hopefully the devs rework it to give us finer control without modding.

What you can do is install a mod like "Crazy Rover Age groups" then you might be able to move right away or after midnight.
Then remove the mod and everyone should return to their previous age groups

If we got a better baseline for age groups, my mod would work even better.
Like every group (well except for toddlers and newborn) lasts 20 days.
It would scale really well. At least it works reall well for 5/7 of the stages (Y.A. and elder can be a bit iffy and impossible to get exactly as you want, depending on what you want).

trying to make a 10 day length to 28days does not work. It's either 27 or 30 because the base of 10 is too small.
But it's better than the other we got which is x2 or x4

Hi i feel like the game runs so much better now, i can have more mods and the game runs alot better on my 5070 gpu

I keep inverting the settings foir the length of the age groups.
I want it to last 4x as long so I set it to x4... But I have to set it to 0.25x instead, lol.

I really like the fact that Zois dont use the Vacuum cleaner outside now. That was a great fix by the devs.

Umm... next minor thing they could fix: Stop throwing the cookie plates into the trash, this can go into the dishwasher 😹
