i found out a few months back that smartzoi has its own seperate system requirements. there's diff things for it like low, med, ultra, etc. its actually one of the factors i looked into when looking for a new laptop but i wonder if things have changed for it since then

Honestly, realizing smartzoi caused my issue was a complete fluke. I just followed troubleshooting steps somebody sent and rested all settings to default and had a nice gaming session, but then after an hour something juicy was happening and I wanted smartzoi to see their thoughts, and I realized smartzoi is the culprit 🤣

Where I crashed 10 sec after reloading
All I did to get throught back then is switch to another family (not same smart zoi inputs I guess) and it worked.
Then I switched back to original family.

After 2-3 sessions the trouble was gone.
But the logic makes sense. It was somthing smartzoi was trying to do crashing the game

the best you can do is set both parents to "StopAging True", make 2 kids (you can get pregnant and give birth while not aging... Make sure you set your newborn to stopaging true as well.
When you give birth to your second baby, reenable aging for all.
I think you can disable the entire family aging from the menu as well, it's even easier.

Or, use the computer to make a baby with your partner twice in a row for twins not to far appart
You can savescum with the computer as well to make sure you get the same gender and make sure you dont end up with fraternal twins.

Bring the removed ones back, restore the negative ones to regular ones, make more of them (You could have 3x their numbers easy as one enneagram usually regroup 3 personalities), and use the characteristics to direct someone to crime/law/faithful or womanizer... etc.

Honestly having more towns in the future will be nice if they do them properly and not so small (which I am worried about as they said they felt Bliss Bay was too big, for me it was just right. Cahaya would be nice too if we didn't lose so much room for the tourist island 🙂 )

it's usually a purple-ish grey mist and you'll know the ghosts are near bc ur zois stop everything they're doing to cower in fear and look in the direction of the ghost. sometimes u see a transparent outline of them but mostly just the mist and ominous music

u just solved what we've been wondering on one of fantayzia's LPs lol. one of her zois adopted a child in Cahaya and when she tried to follow her to school to see where it was, she just disappeared in the road. i thought it was a bug or that maybe the school was across the map and she just bugged out getting there

I have 4 game saves and it's taking me sooo long to update most of my properties after the update.
And putting them back on the reset property, from saved, still needs so much editing to get right, especially when walls or doors have moved🤦🏼‍♀️ Wish we'd had the choice not to update properties, but because so many had changed sizes, the old saved property doesn't fit.
My 82 Zois may as well just live in the run down property that their homes have reset to 😟 Too much of a headache fixing them.

Yes, very annoying. For me this feels like the worst update, in the past year. Good to have community buildings etc updated, but I'd rather have kept the Zois properties the same size, so I don't have to spend days redoing. Can't really be bothered for now. Maybe I need a break after 12 months playing InZoi 😔

Since you've been playing as long as I am, what do you think about the changes in the UI, the Age Groups, the removal of Karma, the removal of cutscenes (like giving birth), disappearance of difficult to spot autonomous zoi actions (like child zoi auto-joining your adult zoi for washing clothes if they had that preference)... stuff like that? I know how ... I ... feel about those and I seem to be almost the only one that feels that way.

I've only had a couple of my Zois give birth, a while ago, and it just went to a picture of the mother holding the baby, with a birth certificate. I didn't like it when Zois used to automatically have babies, and the game would name them. So I'd only create families with couples as roommates, not married, as that stopped automatic babies up to 6 lol.
I've also put cheats on like immortal Zoi etc and I've turned aging and needs etc off. I'd rather spend time creating my Zois photo stories, rather than watching their needs etc. I like creating Zois/clothes, decorating and a bit of refurbishing, but not having to look for old photos of what the homes used to look like, before the game reset them, to redo them.
With the UI, I don't need the mini map, so I'll turn that off in settings.
Re Karma, I didn't do anything with that.
If they had child helping parent washing clothes, that would be good. I don't have many child families in my game, as I always found them limited. Glad there's new clothes now, but previously didn't like the way newborns and toddlers looked almost the same, and they should be in CAZ, as I think they may be in this update. I haven't really looked around much this update, since I've spent too much time redoing broken saved homes.
Love the game in a lot of ways and the realistic graphics, but redoing houses seems so frustratingly unnecessary.

Probably because the mod author has to reupload it during the transition to the new engine there is going to be a period where all mods have to go through a cycle called cooking so that it can be played on the new engine

If the mod authors don’t re upload their assets and stuff in time then their mods will not be compatable with the newer engine I believe

On patch 0.7.0 I didn't need to update any mods whatsoever. They all went in as if nothing happened.
I did receive a weird error on my account where it said all my mods had failed cooking, but as far as I know they are still working. That was confusing.

Hope I'm not missing something, I guess we'll see later when the new engine kicks in.

Once you place them back, you'll need to save them. Also they resized the default size of carpets, I missed a few when I re-uploaded my creations, unfortunately

If you had creations on Canvas? then yeah you need to reupload them all once you fix them, if you want to

I was curious what you guys think about the game as it is now. Im thinking about getting Inzoi after i love the sims and played it for hours and hours. Im just not sure if its something for me.

I recommend watching gameplay, the bonnet simmer on youtube is currently live.

Its in early access, so dont expect 'the sims' because the sims has had almost 3 decades to be the sims. Its honestly its own thing.

Hyper realistic graphics, open world vibes, but we have rain and snow in base game, crime and businesses in base game.

I also recommend watching gameplays, there are a lot of YouTubers with in depth gameplay that will give you a good feel for the game. Steam also allows you to return games if you keep it under a certain amount of hours, I forget how many. And like PossiblyAFruit said, this isn't the Sims. It's a life simulation game so of course it has some similarities but it won't give you a Sims vibe at all.

I think if you go into it with that perspective, you'll enjoy it a lot

Im mostly a realistic player of the sims in the past. So i make stories and used the DLC packs to make those stories. The steam return thing is a bit complex, since i tried the game on the steamdeck and it freezed for about 1,5 hours after I played for 45 minutes. I got a new MacBook and that's why I want to give it a show.

The graphics and the gameplay to some extent. They've added ghosts but for the most part, the game play is geared toward realism. So it's perfect for those of us who aren't really into fantasy/occult.
