Today when I played one of my families I had admittedly abandoned for a while, it turned out the couple’s relationship was strained and then the husband got a message from his bestie. I thought I had to lean into the drama and made him interested in every gender and then go hang out in the park with the friend. As this dude is confessing his attraction to the friend, I immediately get a message from the wife saying “WHERE ARE YOU. TELL ME RIGHT NOW” or something like that. Turns out she was hanging out in the same park and saw them 😭 ever since then, they’ve been fighting constantly and it wouldn’t surprise me if they end up getting a divorce autonomously.

The 'small talk' is kind of an attention holder for while you try to come up with new conversation interactions. Gives you a little time so to speak.

B ut I feel your pain. Seems like almsot all the social interactions have some odd quirk.

It keeps the other Zoi from walking away mid conversation. Which they still do on occasion anyhow.

One of my favorites is getting a text from a Zoi you havent seen in a while.
"Its been so long Id really like to see you and catch up!"
"Sure lets meet at the park at 3 pm!"

Umm the game is still finnicky. Yesterday I fixed the flickering light with the shadows thing bug.
Today it is back. Nothing has changed at all with my settings.
Weird. Looks like time to disable shadows again.

Yea its 'realistic shadows' and it only shows up under specific conditions.
Dont think it has anything to do with light sources.

Just remember turning it back on when the patch dropped.. "Oh cool its fixed!".. later that day.. uh no its not.

Hi everyone! I’m looking for some help regarding a Flower Shop I'm running. I've run into a persistent issue with Zoi behavior that I can't seem to fix: Even after the shop is officially closed, many Zois refuse to leave, also Zois keep entering into private rooms. I have specifically set these doors to 'Business Operator / Employees Only', but they ignore the restrictions completely. I’ve already tried flipping the door direction, re-locking them, but nothing works. They keep bypassing the locks and treat the shop like a public space 24/7.

Is this a known bug with business lot types, or is there a specific way to hard-reset the pathfinding for my shop? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Need to set permissions on the front doors 'buisness hours only' for all but you and staff.

You may still end up with a few stragglers but they will leave eventually.
Dont worry they wont steal stuff.

Okay maybe exaggerating over 16. But I think up to 16 might already be something interesting.
Having lower family number would fix ppl that dont want families to grow over their current number (Families already over the set number would simply not have any more kids)

Just think about a multi generation household.
2 grandparents, say 6 kids, each with their kids. That bring it up to 16 quickly 🙂

Add a “justice” value as opposed to just personality cards. A low value will make a zoi more likely to commit crimes, a high value will make bystander zois more likely to call the police. Such a system would allow even rulebreaker zois to eventually become functional members of society and redeem themselves, adding an extra layer to personality complexity.

Harder to gain relationship with conflicting personalities, easier with matching personalities.

Matching personalities will get special interactions.

At least 10 new personality specific interactions , at least 2 of them being towards matching personalities.

Example: go getter and authoritarian may get a special interaction called “inspire eachother for great success”. This will give them a special moodlet and will cause them to practice their highest level skill (if skill can be practiced on the lot) or work harder until their needs deplete.
Visionary and idealist will get a “build a world together” moodlet which will give them a +3 inspiration moodlet

Conflicting personalities may autonomously get a social interaction “conflicting ways of life” where they’ll get a special moodlet. Special moodlet appears after performing specific, Personality specific interactions

For example, when a Recluse and a socialist talk and the socialite talks about themselves, they will get the following moodlets:
Recluse: angry +1: what an attention seeking zoi. They need to learn to chill once in a while.
Socialite: sad +1: but I just wanted to talk about my latest accomplishments… is it so wrong?

Remove introvert and extrovert characteristics and attach them to the personality cards

So for example:

Recluse - introvert
You are your own island. You’re often alone and enjoy it better this way since you can pursue your own hobbies. However, you may have trouble opening up to new people.
Conflicting personalities: Charmer, Socialite
Best match: sentinel
Increased skill gain when alone
Tense around large crowd
Harder to gain relationship points
Can discuss philosophy and inner peace
Faster relationship gain with animals
Meditation makes bad moodlets go away faster
Avoids autonomous conversation with strangers and will become guarded when they are forced to. Less likely to socialize with familiar zois.
Social and recognition needs take longer to deplete

They need to rework the enneagrams... Get them back properly and expand on them.

Then rework those little characteristics so they dont interfere with the enneagrams (treat them more like quirks). InZOI had something going early on, they just need to continue working on them, bring back the 4 that got removed, switch back the 2 negative ones into their normal neutral/positive sides, and work on those personalities like you said.

I’ve been playing inzoi more again over the last few days, and I’ve noticed some positive things. For one, community lots fill up faster, and someone even tried to break into my place. Haha. I love it when the game surprises me like that.

At work, there was a Zoi who was crying, and I could go up to him and tell him to stop (that’s the nicer way of putting it). Haha. A bit mean, I know, but I still found it kind of funny. I just love funny moments, like in Crusader Kings 3.

I also made a move on a male Zoi who was actually already taken. Unfortunately, he still shows up as single even though he’s in a relationship (just not married). When I added him to my household, his relationship with his ex was already bad because he had cheated. I think that’s great. I just tried out a few things 😄

I love it when Zois I’m not playing have kids, get married, or get into accidents. Surprise me, inzoi 😄

I still hope they keep working on season events and the gameplay in general, especially when it comes to running your own businesses and part-time jobs.

i was hoping for a preview of April update. i'm eager for career/job expansion, but i'm also trying to lower my expectations. sometimes they add things and it's nice at first but when you keep playing it turns out surface level and underdeveloped.

that's the thing though; he asked what's holding us back from the stories we want to tell. I spoke on the royalty element saying I couldn't speak to that bc it wasn't my thing, meaning that I didn't have any input on what could be added to improve that potential aspect of the game. so I spoke on what I personally wanted in game to continue my storytelling and family gameplay

I play Inzoi like I'm imagining my life. That's my playstyle. Everything I want in real life, I also try to achieve in the game. I can't buy a house at the current economy, so I build one in the game. I hate cooking because I don't have the time, but I wish I could do it more often, so I let my Zois cook. That's my playstyle. So, as far as cooking goes, I'm still missing a few features. And posted it.

But yeah, I'm overwhelmed by all the messages again and will probably have to say goodbye to Discord once more. 😬

ive turned off smart zoi again its crashing me like crazy

i never play with it bc when i did, it didn't feel like it changed anything. like yea, the prompts are telling how they feel but they don't necessarily behave that way

there's someone on my inzoi forum post w that same issue. I was able to give a dxdiag from my laptop but not a crash report as I did a fresh reinstall to fix the auto crash at start, but the player who has ur issue gave their dxdiag and crash report. so hopefully that gets included in whatever hotfix they're planning

same, the delivery job and other career updates are the most exciting April features for me too. I have a storyline + new save planned out for the delivery job and can't wait to see more about it soon

I had to abandon smart zoi because it creates more problems than it's worth.

i just disabled smart zoi and no crash so far i was crashing every half an hour before

crashing on my 4090

no its not frame gen for me appears to be just smart zoi

I created a Charmer Zoi and put SmartZoi with the message: "Looking for true love, only use romance with this person," and from then on, he was constantly sad and argued with everyone. However, telling Charmer to focus on his career first and then look for true love worked. He has fewer romantic interactions and reads more books.

SmartZoi works for me on Geforce Now 🤔 No creashes.

When I had frequent crashes, I lowered the settings and cleared the cache, it helped, but your computer is higher

oh wow, i wonder if that's along w our theory of the hot fix being incompatible and causing crashes on 50 series + some higher 40 series GPUs since urs is a 4090. there are a few others w 4080/4090 having both of our same issue.

all my problems happened with the update thats all i know

no im on a full blown 9950x3d 4090 pc

with 11 fans

push and pull cpu cooler

other games do not crash but inzoi with smart zoi on does

i can benchmark with raytracing and not crash

at 4k

oh ok yeah this update screwed alot of us but im glad ur able to at least play w smartzoi off. i think ill keep mine off when they drop a fix just in case

in some ways i wish we could pause updates and not be forced into it😭

word 😭 someone suggested rolling back to a pre-update version but that didn't change anything for me lol. what's crazy is inzoi works on my old lenovo i had before getting my currentasus zephryus but i used to use geforce on there and i do not at all wanna go back to premium until they fix what the update caused on my new laptop lol

i can't remember if mine was in beta or not. it doesnt show on my steam settings but i do remember signing up for it.

Right 🙄 lol but now that I think about it, it’s takes time and effort to really get into creating stories with inzoi but it’s a lot of limitations so I kept my reply simple with, backstories and character bios being implemented which would help me alot personally but not just for show, the backstories must play well with smart zoi and my characters traits and personality
