I have a honest question, but you guys might not know, depending on when you joined the game.
Is it just me or the lighting was much MUCH better in earlier versions of InZOI ? Like in 0.1.0 and 0.2.0 eras ?
I keep thinking something is wrong with my settings, especially when I play in Dowon, but I can feel it in Bliss Bay too.

I can't explain it, but something feels off. Even at night.
It's as if they changed the ceiling light bulb and you don't feel the same... how to say it... Coziness? warmth? of the previous lightbulb.

Every version of the Sims was riddled with bugs and annoyances. There used to be a site called Mod the Sims and most of the mods were bug fixes and gameplay annoyances ( stop your Sim from washing dishes in the bathroom sink, stop the constant pillow fighting, stop the random pushups). I think InZoi's bugs and annoyances are actually minor in comparison. And they do try and fix as much as they can and I have yet to see the inevitable patch to repair the first patch that always happens in Sims 4 anytime the game updates. InZoi is doing phenomenal and I truly hope Kjun realizes it.

You have to pay attention when placing th doors.
You will see arrows on them. Make sure the arror is facing the correct way. INTO the kitchen insead of out of for example.

The arrow is sort of a presumed traffic path. If its facing the wrong way NPC's can ignore door settings.

Hey all, I’m new to inzoi, I’ve been waiting for more updates to come to pick it up and I’ve finally caved.
I had a question. There seems to be a small amount of residential spots in the map (currently bliss bay), it looks as though only around 12-14 ish families can live in the city. Is this right or am I missing something?

im ready for more starter apartments myself but a big help i found is moving the family out of the Haven Hills (i think that's what it's called) apartments near the middle of the right side of the map. the family has like 4 zois but you can evict them or move them elsewhere and use a different preset for that lot to change the interior 🏢

it's the best starter apartment imo bc it's small enough for a zoi or couple without all of the extra space the other apartments have

Umm... I don't know exactly how as I did many many tweaks, but I got rid of the light flickering without reducing/disable shadows and shadow quality. I think what ultimately worked is updating NVIDIA drivers, disabling Ray tracing, restarting, clearing PSO cache, restarting, switched to fullscreen window mode, reactivating Ray tracing and restarting one last time...

But no more flickering (for now) and ultra/max graphics everywhere.
InZOI is such a beast to configure compared to other games I play(ed).

at least 96min, maybe even 4hr/day. Switch to each households that you manage every now and then during the day and address the pressing issues (like waterworks repair to prevent dying from slipping) and making sure everything goes smoothly.

Or 48-96min day and play a single family for a day and switch every day.
Depends on how frequent and hands-on you want to keep on every household you play.

@tulip ore Not perfect, but you could just make sure you don't install large beds (queen beds) in your houses and the families will not have babies. When you want them to have one, just change the 2 single beds in the bedroom to a large queen bed.
OR
You could reduce the romance bar to the minimum in the town setting which will greatly reduce the pregnancy chance for every household no matter which.

If there's one thing I wish Inzoi had later down the line, it's playable hospitals similar to Sims 4 where your characters are able to deliver babies at the hospital. They should probably incorporate being able to have zois ambulance themselves to the hospital ngl.
