to me, Sims 2 is the peak of game design and aesthetics. Every “gear” is in its place, built to set the others in motion and create an actual Game, one that’s supposed to follow its own rules and draw players in.
I’m heading back to work, but on this point I agree

inZOI does have features and logic, but it doesn’t have actual game rules and pattern, it feels more like a demo framework / sandbox. Because of that, it struggles to entertain as a game.

I personally do want Inzoi to feel like a proper successor of Sims 3 because we never got one. I hate Sims 4. But Sims 3 was and still is an amazing game. I'm all for that more mature and emotionally complex approach Inzoi goes for, but I don't think it's a bad thing if Inzoi devs take some lessons from (modded) sims 3.

When I got robbed the thief picked the lock, and went to my nightstand and stole a gold bar from it. I tried the interaction hit with frying pan but my zoi just took a swing in her current location instead of walking up to the thief. She called the police and they showed up and arrested the thief. It was a bit buggy (thief stood still next to the night stand for a long time and it took a good while for the police to do the arrest). The thief also got to keep his gold bar because I never got reimbursed the 300 meow lol.

Hello, I've been having issues with the latest update (crashing after continueing game etc). I tried doing all the things suggested, clearing cache, pso, but none of it worked. I came to the conclusion that it is my GPU driver messing up the game. I have an AMD GPU (7800XT) running 26.3.1 adrenaline drivers. However after running DDU and installing the 26.1.1 drivers the game runs perfectly fine. After the hotfix of today I thought I'd give it another try with the 26.3.1 but it still won't work. Anyone else having that issue still? Sorry for the long text

I was once deep in the Sims 4 community. Many players have an unhealthy relationship with the game. It's not a game for them, it's an escape. Also the creators who make money from the game off of Patreon and now the marketplace are treated like gods in the TS4 community. When they saw there was no paid content or money to be made in InZoi, they began the soulless AI smear campaigns as way to deter players from leaving TS4. Youtubers did this too.

Yes! Mac doesnt allow mods regardless at the momemnt, but the devs are aware and working to fix. When you see announcements for patches it will say "steam" or "mac" usually. however mac ver updates tend to come a couple days later than the steam one

Like the diswasher door, the beachball, zoi pulling a chair to sit but the chair does not move or lags a few second behind. It’s weird because when I go to that directory path, I only have a Microsoft option after “Local” so I had to delete cache through windows button + R and find those files that way but it still kept crashing after launch. I don’t seem to have any mods showing up in my mods folder either. I appreciate you trying to help though 🙂

the only thing i noticed after reverting to default settings was smart zoi being disabled, i noticed that the previous patch had an issue with smart zoi not writing the prompt for each zoi separately, they'd have the same one. Personally if I were Kjun I would go the route of monthly updates, surveys and guided feedback. I'm sure there is a way to filter out all the repetitive requests and entitled demands, but I get exhausted reading thru the feedback, I can't imagine how the actual devs feel. Emily Martin in my game was a kid of a pre-generated family who died 2-3-4 days after I begun the save. I remember receiving that text and being sad as a player (and my Zoi took it pretty hard too as she was her best friend).
But as said, this was on day between 2 or 4 at the beginning of the game.

Since then I’ve finished the Child age group AND the Adolescent age group. Obviously she was never “my child”.
That urge is … well… very weird and sick… ( So it’s bugged ! 😉 )
