hmm I watched movie about rendering differences before and after and hmm... I have strong GPU (RTX 5070) I play on all ultra and I never had such a clean image 🙂 not telling about grainy blinking shadows on all settings (only disable shadows helps xD ) any ideas what I set wrong? Also my textures and not very sharp somehow, and face looks much worse than in character creation Oo

Yoy talking about apartments? It's probably because they remade them with in game tools as opposed to shells in UE5 to improve performance, so something broke with old ones. Also, there should be a cheat to edit the apartment lobies, it's in the patch notes

I got this weird bug with chair animations since the update. Zoi will pull the chair to sit in it, then wither the chair will move a couple second later or not at all... Very weird. Ironically, this seems the only issue I've noticed (other than the new changes to autonomy that keeps pausing the simulation to teach/be taught music).

In order as I think it should be, going thru the list one at a time to pick their meal :
1- If Zoi currently has an active urge (eat mango/granola/bibimbap/etc, or drink coffee), pick that.
2- Eat any meal not currently claimed which are lying around (served meals/unfinished served meals) which have not gone bad.
3- Eat from a meal stack lying around (such as a stack of 8 pancakes or how many is left in the stack) which has not gone bad.
4- Eat a leftover from inside the fridge, again as long as it has not gone bad.
5- If Zoi has cooking preference, make a single portion of their favorite food type if they can/ingredients permit. If more than one type of favorite, random choice.
6- If Zoi does NOT have cooking as a preference, eat a quick meal of their preferred food (if any).

Where it is applicable from the above points, Zoi should ALWAYS pick a meal with proper calories to get as close as possible to maximize their hunger bar, like if the zoi gets into eating a quick meal, and they like meat, they should pick the meat-type food with closest calories count to full (either 90% or 110% or whatever).
But also prioritize their preferred food if-type you picked any.

I stopped playing 4hrs because they never fixed the issues plaguing it with eating and other needs taling forever, nullifyuing the goal of 4hrs, which was having time to manage muultiple families.

Also use to play with controller, but since they seemed to change some of the control scheme, such as when holding right stick and left/right D-pad to change camera center, or holding Y to access additional options.

When holding Y it forces the quick menu, making all of the additional actions you can do by holding Y a pain to use.

When holding right stick to access it's additional options, it forces the camera to switch modes, which makes those additional options a pain to use as well.

A better solution would be to detect input and only handle the menu or camera switch options if no other input was detected before releasing the button.

After following the procedure, if you have a 2TB C drive (or resonable space on C:), try setting NVidia Shader cache to 48 to 60 GB (I have set it to 100 GB on my 2TB C:).
In Inzoi, since you just bought the game, avoid any and all mods and do not download from Canvas until you play just the default game for at least 20 hours. (to get familiar with controls, graphics settings and gameplay). In my 400 hours, I have not used mods and never have any crashes or lags since the last entire year.

For the employee, or your Zoi as the operator, set actions to make the drinks and restock the drinks, and Clean Up
For the customers, set the action to Order and Drink
You can set other suitable actions.

I was honestly hoping there would be more going on at these new events in the city. At the spring festival, there’s just one small stall. I thought everything would be nicely decorated with booths, flowers, trees and things you can interact with… something at least. But it feels empty and boring.

Are the other events also just a few stalls selling stuff?

It’s a shame, I really thought there would be a bit more this time. If I work on the plots for spring, does that stay the same, or does it change again later? Otherwise there’s no point in rebuilding everything all the time to every event.

I’m not sure if I’m explaining myself clearly. 😅

Yep but you can build up on your levels of crime & doing a bank theft ain’t so easy (at least in my gameplay) and with the court system, it can be repetitive but I think that’s another system they’re gonna be improving plus they’re gonna expand on the prison

Exactly this. The reason why Sims 4 ended up being so unstable to this day is because they kept adding more and more activities, "things to do" without making sure the core game was functional. It ended up being an unfixable mess. Also, InZoi is in early access. If it feels empty in some parts, that's because it is. It's like a house under construction. Some rooms are finished, others are still being built.

I really like the fundamentals first approach because that ensures a stable game in full release.

I think the fact that the sims has been around for literal generations and Inzoi is actually able to be reasonably compared, speaks volumes about Inzoi

Inzoi is capable of matching and even surpassing the sims in a fraction of the time

It is and I think that's amazing. I know that the specs are rough on folks with lower end machines but I really appreciate InZoi is trying to make use of the latest technology. The Sims 4 keeping players stuck on outdated PCs for a buggy broken game and charging modern day prices for it was really egregious but no one really stops to think about that.

Anyway the gardener in me is so thrilled with the different flower options to grow~

I play on Ultra and I feel like my game is a bit too bright. I actually lowered the brightness to zero. It's not too bad but I feel like i'm missing some of the shadows and details i had before
