I recommend removing Engine Tweaks mod if you use it, before the update happens.

Also if you used any age mods, remove them and reset your preset Zois' ages in CAZ by aging them up one and down again, then saving.

Someone told me that if you click the top right pencil in the property editor you can add a “Participant Zoi” so I made “Isabelle Coffeemaker” as one and set their status to employee. But they have yet to show up

And their schedule gets reset every time I click on the pencil again

I haven't done anything too exciting with her ( yet) because I like to just go thru daily life with my Zois until a story starts to unfold in my mind lol Reight now I'm creating a custom wardrobe for her because the in-game clothes aren't exactly what i want for her. So it's been fun modding her clothes and having her wear them in game.

I live in North Carolina ( southeast USA) and today we're at 70 degrees and sunny. I'm from the Dominican Republic so my default favorite weather is tropical lol I grew up in NYC though so I despise the winter and all things winter and will never ever live in a cold climate ever again where the cold hurts my face. I lived in Miami for several years and that is my favorite city and favorite weather. Anyway back to InZoi- Cahaya naturally has my fave climate in game lol

I don't even mind the Paralives graphics too much because I'm used to cozy games with colorful style but what left a bad taste in my mouth was all the YouTubers acting like Paralives was some marvelous spectacular game compared to InZoi when in reality, anyone can see it's still more of a concept than a full game, even after all these years later.

I think the key to enjoying InZoi right now in early access is you have to use your imagination. The game is very open-ended and doesn't give you tons of "busy" gameplay like the Sims series. It will eventually but for now, player imagination and storytelling are key. If you are the type of player that needs the game to lead you on tons of tasks and activities, InZoi is not quite there yet. Not to say there is nothing to do, there is lots to do. But not 20 plus years of stuff to do like the other game.

There's a filter called Cartoon in the game that applies a filter over all the graphics
It adds "drawn" lines and makes a lot of the lighting flatter like it's 2D

A lot of people who aren't fan of realism play with the cartoon filter on

I really cannot play a game in Dowon. Tried twice and .. beside the firefighter / idol jobs, it's too much "large downtown center". Bliss Bay is awesome but mostly because of the large amount of lots and pre-generated families that are numerous as well.

I hope that later down the line we get all those different vibe towns/cities.
A Japanese "suburb" town with lots of trees and a park, maybe with a nice temple (ie: Kyoto) would be a VERY nice town for me as well. Ahhh the possibilities.

All of those are pretty large, but you might need to pick another lot, then use the map to "move there" and evict the other tennants.

Cahaya has 4(5?) 40 by 35 lots though... It's the queen of large properties.

I agree not a fan of the "wasted" space on the tourist trap island. I felt that with a smaller town, we didnt need to sacrifice for that, and I alnmost never go there when playing. I guess it's really meant as a vacation spot when coming from other towns... but I lament the loss of space in Cahaya for that

It is very different but I think towns in the Appalachians and in the swamps of Louisiana are the kinds of places that some people would call dumps and we all know the reason why. It is the perception that humble equals poverty which equals ugly.

Anyway, I love all three worlds and find each one to have their own kind of beauty. I have travelled the world though so that of course had broadened my perspective.

Hi guys, I know they are supposed to fix the age stuff soon but I figured something out this week that forgive me if it is not news. Basically, when you show your zoi ID and customzoi and save your zoi preset on CAZ you can go on the outside world to create a family and select your preset zoi and change to any new age you want ( the ones available on CAZ) then you save the new age zoi preset and back to your game on the customize your character you can select the younger or older version you saved and your zoi will not lose anything but will age or go back in time instantly.

But also, the screen is MUCH bigger than that last time I spied on the theatre and looked at it at certain angles. Very glad for the new movie screen, they really ate!

This is good news, I want to test it first hand before calling it a win.
The last time they tampered with autonomy gave us those artificial needs depletion at noon then at 6.15pm precisely and zois eating when full, bathing when clean... etc.

Haven't seen anything about that, but it'd probably take them longer. Last time strollers were mentioned kjun said it was giving them trouble and suddenly throwing errors that werent there before, so we'd probably have to wait for a while 💀

Tricycles for kids was easy since kids are already able to ride the car, so the system was in place. Toddlers arent able to ride anything, so they'd have to do everything from scratch

The rest of her new foster family looks like [Bleh] though, but my challenge is I cannot edit or change anything about them. I have to do my best as this zoi... It's a good passtime and challenge until the next patch.
I get to play with the house and remodel as much as I want though 😉
