Either one works. What matters is the detail in the prompt. One thing I like to do is I go to the wiki page of tv or movie characters I like and then use the personality description for the character. So for instance I really like the personality of emily from emily in paris so I went to the emily in paris wiki fandom, scrolled down to the personality section and copied the description into the smartzoi prompt.

yes, the implementation wasn't the best due to EA/budget, but technically it's probably the best, the life-sims and other sims haven’t brought us more advanced and practically applicable hybrids yet

I think Inzoi is doing really well, it's just regular early access chaos tbh. And I definitely think they underestimated how long it still has to be in early access for it to feel like a proper 'complete' base game. Especially the core systems of making Zois behave like humans in a way that is satisfying to play around with is super challenging.

They have road maps and share weekly, they seem tl have a very good idea of where the game is going. Early access means a lot of fluctuation and changes.

InZois will never feel entirely human. The simulation amd autonomy may advance but in the end, it's a video game. We already have artificial intelligence that feels human and it is resource heavy on the planet. It can't and shouldn't ever be implemented in a video game when we have our imaginations to fill in the gaps.

Yeah they need to be smart about it which makes it such a tough challenge. I mean it's not even fun to have 100% humanlike zois. It needs to be exaggerated in some areas, and toned down in others. Like they tried for the realistic approach with the active jobs, but we quickly found out that having your Zoi do different tasks behind a computer for 8 hours a day is not fun at all. To name an example lol

Updating the game engine basically means they have to rewrite a lot the game. They're just allowing people to get the engine update earlier to test it before they "force" it upon everyone for a smoother update experience

Just watched the planned update video, 90% satisfied with the "Classic" and other UI options.
It's very close to classic, but they messed-up with the round portrait and the thin/long emotion bar (Not an option it seems).
So still a bit irked. And will politely give them feedback about it when we get our hands on it, but it's undeniably MUCH better. Yay !

Also fat zois looks good (well, for fat zois). Now if they only fixed the bug where all zois end-up super thin for no reason... I miss having to keep working out to keep my shape !

Hi, newbie here... greetings! I have a issue. I hadn't played the game in a while, and I did so after the latest hotfix, and I found a lot of things broken. Graphical problems that occurred in the first version of the game, such as cars disappearing, no people on the street, the graphics card whirring as if it were on fire, and a lot of trailing when I move the camera, didn't happen the last time I played before the hotfix.

Do report any bugs you find and include your save file like instructed when you do. The game has been suffering from more bugs since the december update.

Including your save file helps a lot. They recently told me my save file helped them fix the bed fabric spray bug (fix is coming with the next update). Without your save file it's hard for them to reproduce the issue.

Nah they're right, ghosting is a lot worse compared to a bunch of months ago even with all those fixes

Especially if you turn on realistic shadows

Really hoping the new engine build next week fixes at least some of it

Yeah I have DLAA + TSR and everything and the ghosting is absolutely terrible still in the shadows

It's mostly zois when they are moving in front of more shadey areas

Especially indoors on the periphery of lamp lighting

Pretty sure it's an UE problem so yeah, like you said, hopefully the upgrade will help 😄

Seems like a shadow issue alright 😮 Someone posted these mods on Reddit which said it helped. But also be cautious with mods as out of date ones may break the game 😅

so first canvas town is 40 lots and the 2nd is 50 didnt i hear it confirmed that so far they can make a canvas town with 80 lots and the performance is still great? anyone know anything about this or remember?

They did say they could scale it up to 80 without it performing any worse than normal Dowon. But since they want to mostly release this for people who can't run the big cities, I can understand them prioritizing smaller before releasing bigger maps.

hii does anyone else have a problem with connecting their walls at an angle? i always start by building a house and im really new to the game and dont know how to fix this issue

also creating a pool on grass tiles seems to be an issue but idk how it works when you actually put the ready lot into the game

The game doesn't like certain angles, you have to make it go straight one square to connect it. pools can only go on the ground, with no platform / objects under it

Yes but it doesn't contain source (the default ones are like 30 seconds long) and interaction have to be modded to match length of the song or music will stop as soon as the zoi left the booth. I think mod music from speakers might be better cause they stays on
