I am playing bannerlord atm, I cant help but notice that the bandit hideout voice acting, when its even present. Is quite lacking, check the steppe bandit boss voicelines.
In the far future when mainland is getting ready for a full release, getting indie voice actors would be a decent option.
Though voice actors can be expensive, if done well they are well worth it.

Could always check for volunteer voice actors as well, some people will do for the exposure

Yeah, for simple voices, Im sure there is no need to use very professional voice actors
Just need a good sound quality anyway

Proffesional voice actors are really expensive. Indies are cheaper and they can also use mainland for their experience portofolio.
