HDR on
thanks Musa. I read the release date comments and most people were saying to turn ingame HDR off with the mod. I was confused.
Bought the game on winter sale, tried to use Reno DX mod but according to the HDR analysis tool from reshade it's inferior compared to simply reducing the brightness to -2 from the in game brightness slider?

According to the tool -2 brightness without the mid has more non sRGB colors (the dci and the what other thing) than with using the mod
you can use the saturation slider

newer ue5 games don't run the shader every frame
so you have to find something that triggers it to rerun

You move a slider. Then open the menu and close it for the slider to actually take effect

But that's only if you want to customize the sliders, isn't it? Aren't most games with renodx mod don't require you to tweak the sliders?
Ya just if you want to customize. All you actually need to do is set peak to whatever your display support

I installed the latest snapshot from github https://github.com/clshortfuse/renodx/releases/download/snapshot/renodx-mgsdelta.addon64 + set HDR = on + fullscreen. However most of the sliders aren't working (contrast, shadow, saturation etc.), are they meant to be editable? The only one works is the EOTF: default BT.1886 darkens the UI a bit compared to 2.2 but that's about it
Tried switching tonemapper but doesn't make much differences, is it working properly in this case?

Default is BT 1886/2.4, I settled for 2.2 and leave everything else as default. Except avg brightness is 127 I believe so I set it to 203 and that's about it.
I downloaded the latest snapshot and it's from January so I think that's as most recent as it gets
