I can recognize an overbrightened and uncalibrated screen
When I see one
Or white clipping or what so ever
do you know why you can't, its because its not doing 3330 nits
switch channels please
Aing got all day
No thank you for the invitation but I ain't got all day to discuss, they cannot understand and let them not too, I'm heading out 🙏🏿
cope overload reached
As I said not all the settings can look the same on all the tvs and clearly you can see that people don't get that
@autumn jetty actually my laptop does 33k nits
amazing
I need to own one
its too much ground to cover
your panel physically cannot reach 3330 nits, why do you insist in saying the opposite, the 2000 nit max claim for gen 2 panels is from samsung display
Lol, I just ain't got time to waste bro, if you don't understand don't understand
I've put money down
even if you used the panel's native color temp I doubt it'll be capable of hitting over 3000 nits
or do you want me to double my bet
In game mode
Sheeshh
so you're saying samsung display is wrong?
How many times do I say it lol
it cannot.
he is using warm2
that doesnt matter, game mode only overbrightens the image a little bit
I'm sorry, but it's you that cannot understand it. Or you just can't admit that you were wrong.
yeah no it absolutely isn't getting anywhere close to 3000
Bruh that's why it's modding exist lol🤦🏿♂️
dude, for the 3rd time, your panel cant do that
I understand that the service menu exists, but even then
modding only pushes them from samsung TV limits to maximum panel manufacturing limits....
and there he said he understands calibration
Is there anything clipping?

Overbrightening or sum?
its a photo
Lol
so if I can show my laptop not clipping at 33300 nits, my laptop does 33300 nits?
the clouds
LOL
It's not accurate from there ofc, but to say, it's not Overbrightened
It's v2 highlights
he doesn't even understand how tonemapping works RIP
#🖥️tvs-and-monitors 😄
at least the colors are very wrong
Lol I do bro dw
"Is there anything clipping?"
Lol Exactly what I explained to you earlier you proved my point, it says 4000 on reno dx but it's actually displaying my actual peak brightness which is 3330
hdr200
HDR 3k
See you in a hour XD
Spiwar on that HDR 2
Yh, because my eyesight will be fried
Keep my brightness at 203
how the hell is it looking so normal with these crazy settings ?😵💫
What kind of witchery is this ?🤯

Microsoft witchery
With the right setting, your 400 nits IPS laptop display can clip at 33k too

I never noticed until now how detailed the clouds in this game are
reminder: if the npc/object textures look suspiciously low res, then switch the graphics presets to ultra quality, because that controls the texture quality, anisotropic filtering
the "custom" preset can by anything
you have to start from "ultra quality" if you want high quality textures
I played through the 2.6 story with low-res textures... I thought that the textures not loading in properly was another game bug
Duly noted !
Does windows do tone mapping based on the HDR calibration thingy ?
it probably does look ok on his display because apparently his display is undertracking the pq
hey folks, anyone able to make renodx work with the launcher XXMI?
Windows does do tonemapping if ur on mobile
guys, is the wuwa cursor supposed to be this gray? the other UI elements are the right brightness but the cursor seemns to not be affected and it look very gray

Best way would be to close this thread one entirely
Or lock it
My b
@autumn jetty wdyt?
We could leave a last message here pointing ppl to the new thread and then lock it to consolidate discussion?
Might not be the worst idea.
Yeah that's what I meant
All right, I'm closing this forum post.
