Slight adjustment suggestion for increasing Melee range would help eliminate this visual flaw where attacks appearing to land do not. The increase does not even need to be significant. Just several more pixels would allow smoother consistency connecting Melee attacks.
Secondly applying a Critical for Backstaps or instant kills would help improve gameplay experience and give incentive for managing to get behind an unsuspecting target. Its rather cruel when that 1st melee swing at the back doesnt do the magic you would hope to see.
