#Limit Snipers per team + only equal Snipers in each team

Dont hate me, just an idea:
How about a team can only have maybe 2 snipers max and only the same amount as snipers as the other team.
So if one team only has one sniper then the other team can have only one sniper?
Or it depends on the amounts of the players.
Like 4 player teams = 1 Sniper
7 player teams = 2 snipers
10 player teams = mores snipers?

I agree, but even tho I play mainly sniper, I feel like the players in lobbys complain the most about sniper players.

Yesterday we had a game and decided no snipers or little amount of snipers and the game was more fun for each.

People can just switch lobbies if they don‘t like their current one.
But I prefer to be able to play with friends who all play sniper.

instead of a game where one of the main mechanics is preplanning a locked in roster, let's bring it back to an example a lot more comparable
overwatch, a game designed around swapping heroes, had hero bans for like less than a month and then dropped it
lost my train of thought from bringing that up but anyways, the main audience draw of krunker strike is from how uncomplicated it is
things like adding new gamemodes to accommodate structured class play would have a pretty big trade-off in that regard, and I assume that there's big incentive to make everything added as simple as possible
like, if you see krunker.io, you'd immediately be able to tell that the two are polar opposites in regards to how they want people to play the game.
krunker strike wants everyone to just be able to press the big play button and start immediately, while .io wants the player to be in control of every setting, even if it makes it too complicated for beginners
I do agree that controlling sniper use was pretty fun but when it comes down to it, things to control sniper use on the game's end faces challenge from all sides, be it lobby system, gamemodes, how attention retention is designed, and the fact that sniper is probably a pretty large incentive for people to crack open their wallets for the game

I mean technically if you make the matchmaking in the background you still would just have to press play.
However there are enough people who actually enjoy playing against a lot of snipers.
And like I said, if you don’t like your current lobby because of too many sniper players, just switch lobbies.

how I see it is that it's kinda like playing jenga with it to make it work
like, if role matchmaking is a thing, there would then need to be a system designed to lock players from switching while they're in that lobby
and also having to think about if that would be a separate matchmaking pool from the loose team deathmatch we have now, and if that would impact the player population too drastically
tbh idk why I'm even trying to take the dev pov when it's just, they'll do it if they want to and won't if they can't

There’s should be no reason to mess with the functionality in terms of this aspect in my opinion.

As a sniper I never really saw an issue with this, esp cus a lot of snipers game hop. Plenty of snipers suck and we're really easy to kill if you're any good at the game, so it's not necessarily like you're limiting the most OP players and making the game more fair. Plus I just think of how overwatch did this so that people were forced to be healers and how wait times for matches could get insane because of it. Let's not raise the ~30 second wait time between matches if we can help it.

You are right, snipers already have one shot kill advantage and sometimes matchmaking gives three snipers on one side and another none or one, all three snipers either block all paths or gangs up together at a spot facing different directions, switching teams doesn't help, it makes previous team more weaker, more than four snipers in a lobby irrespective of matchmaking scenario ruins the game for non-sniper players, their gameplay becomes going and get killed instantly or be called out for "hiding" in the chat.

No need to remove that, everyone who doesn‘t like it, always has the possibility to switch lobbies (or on this server switch voice channels).

They could try to make the team match making a bit better so that snipers are more distributed.
However, from what I‘ve experienced that‘s already almost always the case.

And that is why you just want to limit it so that the people cannot play together anymore?
Doesn't make sense to me.
And it just depends, there are several used voice channels often enough - just join one and more will follow.

Adds some sort of complicated matchmaking / role queue, otherwise might run into games where players must rush to lock in sniper. Regardless, it's a hypercasual (and ptw) game, so this will not be implemented nor does it make sense to be implemented

A class cap makes better sense in a competitive setting, which will likely never happen for this game
