Sure, you have standard OAuth setup, but that doesn't explain why my friend JUST authenticated and received multiple emails from steam saying there are suspiicous logins and they are blocked from the UK and we aren't using VPNS

I mean… that’s possible but it would be on Steam’s end. We do not have access to Steam access tokens. Steam does not use OAuth2. We literally have 0 access to Steam accounts at all. When you authenticate we ONLY get your 64-bit Steam id. There are no access tokens or cookies involved at all.
