Some of our servers have been getting hit with serious lag spikes and packet drops — like getting third-partied mid-rotation with no builds.

The issue is with the host we're using — they've been under heavy fire (DDoS-style) for a couple of weeks now, and it's not just us taking the damage. A bunch of other clients (even big names like Google) are getting tagged too.

The host is grinding hard to shield up and build defenses, but it’s basically a non-stop game of cat and mouse right now. We are scouting out other options, but this kind of thing is hitting a lot of game servers across the board.

We’ll keep you posted if there’s a W in sight, but for now, we might have to tough it out and play through the storm.

Update 10/4: We’re optimistic that things could level out by tonight or tomorrow. The host is working on adding more peering (aka better connections to the rest of the map), which should help a lot. Can’t promise a Victory Royale just yet, but know it’s being worked on 24/7.
