They should make it so you can shoot a nailgun at a surface, then equip rope in hand and attach it to the nail. The nail becomes an anchor point, length of rope is determined by how much rope is in the stack. You can attach one end and let the other hang for climbing/repelling rope, or like a wire tool take it to another nail and attach it, making a custom zipline. Would be cool to have grapples you can throw and grapple arrows you can shoot that you equip rope in, like you would put bait in a fishing pole, to create climbing/repelling ropes or ziplines, as well.
