#Applio Isn't recognizing Python even when it's installed
1 messages · Page 1 of 1 (latest)
Sorry about that, I'm just frustrated. Do you have any ideas to fix the problem?
Please and thank you?
Idk about Applio unfortunately
@ebon burrow Sorry for the ping but I really need your help. I need to know how do I fix the issue. It says so on my post.
bro just use the google colab
its pretty goodd
I don't like Google Colabs. They're too complex.
What version of applio did you download?
A Github release or the compiled version?
not that complex, rvc disconnected is super easy bro
all you gotta do is monitor it
like every once and a while
like tops maybe every 15-30 mins
so it doesnt time you out for thinking your a robot
which it will ask (it will be a pop up)
but overall hella simple
The compiled version. I'm sorry for taking to long. I've been busy with stuff.
Sorry bud. But I'm still sticking with Applio.
Did you run it with admin perms?
You mean run as administrator? No.
I put it on the downloads folder.
Had the same issue but Applio opens and it won't make inference because i installed Applio on the downloads folder instead of the C: Disk lol
Sorry about not listening for 2 days. I was busy with things...again. What folder do you suggest? Do you have a name of it?
Give me a specific name for the folder. How about my Program Files?
Ayo? @dapper ginkgo level 11 !!!
Problem already solved a month before, i was just telling the issue of the Applio inference not working because the program location was on Downloads.
Should I put Applio on Program Files, or no?
Well then where should I put it? I know it has to be on a folder that doesn't have spaces. Can it be any folder with no spaces?
Fine. I'll put it on RVC. Hopefully it works.
Putting it on RVC didn't work. Where should I put Applio?
I'm using Windows in case you're wondering.
I guess.
I need help fixing Applio. To help you catch up. No, I'm not running it as administrator.
I'm not saying I don't want to run it as administrator. I just want to know if that's the solution.
No it isn't, when you run it as admin it should show that error but idk why it's giving you that error. You had enough space in your drive right? And you also installed applio in the C: drive?
Ayo? @ebon burrow level 4 !!!
Yes and yes.
If you know what that meant.
Can you check if in the env folder has the python.exe file?
Nope. It's not in there.
How do I download the exe file?
Could you send a screenshot of the env folder?
Probably there are more missing files so we need to check it
So what should I do?
@ebon burrow Hello?
Could you check if the compiled zip file contains the env folder with this files?
Yes sir.
So definitly there's been an issue extracting the zip file
try using winrar
o 7zip
I guess I could download the compiled version, if that's alright with you.
I don't know what you mean?
You downloaded the compiled version earlier
but when extracting there's been an error so the env folder did not extract well
So you need an alternative software that extracts the file
@ebon burrow Oh... That compiled version. I was wrong, that wasn't the compiled version. The one I downloaded right now is a compiled version. I must've mistaken you.
I'm checked the env file and yes there's a python.exe file. There's no way it'll fail this time. Wish me luck.
Good news! It's working! Applio is finally working! Now I can make my first voice model! I hope there's a guide to make a voice model on Applio. It's already getting complicated to get started.

Can you help me with this?
@ebon burrow
which folder with no privileged access and spaces should I put in the Applio folder?
Something like C:\ or less privliged acces like C:\Users\YOUR USERNAME
been trying to do that but it still gives me the env/python error
I already downloaded Python 3.10
Did you try with the compiled version?
I already did it first.
but got the error
check the environment PATH?
I've changed the environment path, but it still didn't work.
I already got that enabled
unless it is just not recognized error like the OP's, show the error messages
even dual installed python 3.9 and 3.10 works
operable program or batch file.```
and that file really exists? not blocked by defender/AV?
It is, but not blocked by an antivirus
