Later during the production stages of the film, Harrison Ford gets fed up with Brooks' handling of the film and he quits the set. Without anybody to play Indiana Jones, Brooks choses to have Shawn play Indy without any fake shemping thus resulting in horrible inconsistencies where Indy is portrayed by Ford and then switch to being played by Shawn. The film is eventually released on June 12, 1981 to box-office failure, with only the careers of Brooks and Shawn unable to be damaged and derailed while the careers of everyone else are ruined, with Lucasfilm taken over by Rank Film Distributors (who would later be taken over by Carlton in 1997, with Carlton then merging with Granada in 2 February 2004 to form ITV plc) and Paramount Pictures going bankrupt, with every film after being a box-office failure and sold off to Sony in 1990 who folded it into Columbia Pictures?
