For inference it's best if you use an audio in wav format

The wav format doesn't compress the quality, so it's "lossless"

So since it keeps all the data RVC can give you more precise and better results

While mp3 does compress the quality and therefore loses some data

In exchange of having a smaller file size

And also, converting it from mp3 to wav won't do anything, since once you lose the data you can't get it back

So yeah I hope you understand that
