The tools that process retreival based voice conversion aren't exactly optimized. There is still unfilled potential, but basically- someone needs take up the job and start fixing the bugs in these things, or start over and optimize. The same could be said for the other tech I guess.
One fundamental thing wataru okada didn't exactly do well was the instructions on how to use it, especially not for their beatrice trainer.

the main line wokada voice changer's github repository instruction isn't exactly that clear either, since, first there is "we also made this and this" and kind of hid the download button below where you expect it in the text.
