RVC is natively Speech To Speech,
RVC forks such as ilaria rvc mainline & applio have built in tts (using Microsoft Edge TTS to make a generated tts audio, which i suggest you to choose a tts model that is the same gender and language of the rvc model you wanna use, and then convert it with rvc)

NOTE: RVC isn't as good as GPT So Vits for tts, but gpt so vits can't use rvc models (and viceversa), and its only limited to: english, chinese & japanese, if you wanna check gpt so vits instead, read https://docs.aihub.wtf/tts/gpt-sovits/

If you wanna do tts locally (if you got a good pc):

  • You can find Ilaria RVC Mainline here (no guide as of right now)
  • While Applio in our docs

If you don't got a good pc you can do it online:

  • Ilaria RVC Zero (Running on A100 GPU, free fasted rvc on cloud)

  • Use Applio UI Colab (with google colab T4 free daily limit gpu)

  • if you don't wanna use edge tts, you could try another tts ai from our tts index and use the tts output as an input in rvc

i can explain the philosophical speculations i had and the underlying processes involved in this algorithm.

the first is the "syntax"
it convert a "grammatical expression" into an english sentence.
examples:

past(verb2(john,kill)) = john killed
past(verb2(mary,kill)) = mary killed
ask(past(verb2(john,kill))) = did john kill

for converting an english sentence into a grammatical expression, which can be necessary to do sometimes - we try all related expressions and see whether it equals to the inputted english sentence.
i call this inverse "syntax inverse"

and once we have the sentence's grammatical expression, we can perform manipulations on it. like logical reasoning. or just obeying commands. anything you wish to. it just needs to be programmed now.

and the other thing was the mathematics solver. its a different Ai project. for the mathematics solver we apply a search algorithm to a equation where the neighbouring nodes are generated using mathematical axioms.
the smallest mathematical equation is selected from the search algorithm and returned as the answer in the Ai.
in this case depth first search was used and the maximum depth allowed was depth of 5. and three times "recentring" has been performed. recentring is a way to reduce the search time.

If the voice model is having issues inferencing with audios of other languages than the one the model is trained on, maybe try lowering the search feature ratio that controls the usage of the index, but from what i think you said which is changing a voice accent from italian to brazilian for example, i dont think so

What does WASAPI do?
WASAPI accesses your audio devices directly, while the driver that you use by default (which is "MME") goes through multiple layers within the Windows audio subsystem, causing more delay.
