I'm going to ask something about RVC technology, specifically the platform that uses that technology, which is Applio. Generally, when I clone a voice from a different language, just as when I make the inference and conversion of a voice from my language (Spanish, Russian, Portuguese) to that different language (let's say English), it is not very noticeable that it is difficult for it to speak my base language. (the accent comes out more from the base audio that I provided the final inference). Is there a way for the original character's accent to be properly preserved, even after making inference? Should I disable pretrained or custom pretrained or should I touch another specific setting? Why does this happen? Is there a pretrained one that preserves the English accent of the original character? I'm needing help

Why does this happen?

It will use most of the original audio for the inference. Kinda conservative at times - you can increase index and see what that gives as a result

Disabling pretrains will probably make it worse, and depending on the language you can find specific pretrains for them, but honestly I don't really recommend.

The truth is, your base audio should be similar (at least accent wise) for RVC to convert like that...

if I convert it to a wav it wont gain any quality back

so it wouldnt help right

Breathing is fine to leave in if they aren't robotic or harsh. So if one line of dialogue is unusable but the breathing is fine, then just leave that in.

It can keep training if you mostly look at kl and mel instead of g/total

since it's only the average
