Hey guys im trying to extract graphs and images from powerpoint sized pdf files. The pdfs are incredibly information dense and I need to extract the most relevant parts of the page to minimise noise when passing it to my LLM. I've tried unstructured (works well on A4, not on powerpoint sized pdfs) and now I've tried LayoutParser (with detectron) as well as trying to use openai/clip-vit-large-patch14 for object detection and passing it through google/siglip-large-patch16-384 for classification but the results have been not great so far.

Any tips, I would have thought there'd be some slick object detection vision algorithm that would work well but I haven't been able to find it. Any help would be massively appreciated
