Anyone know what does target sample rate do in training
Select the one that matches your audio in the dataset. If you audio has frequency cutoff on 24khz then go for 48k, if 20khz then 40k etc.
You can check the frequencies of an audio in almost any audio editing software.
If not sure or doesn't care to check, or audio in the dataset is from multiple different sources that had different frequency cutoff points, then go for lower one to avoid noise on the higher frequencies.
tip: if you source your audio for the dataset from youtube it will most likely be 20khz
