okay so basically-
through talking to her, you'd find out that she married in her early 20s, and had her son shortly after. she describes her husband as having been a loving guy in the beginning, but over time grows more distant and eventually violent (hence if u check her hands, theres bruising on her wrist, her earlobe is torn, and she comments on vaguely remembering having missing teeth when you check her perfect white teeth.)
eventually she says he died in the beginning of the solar flare, but refuses to tell you how or who did it!
eventually, she disappears a few nights after you let her in, leaving a note with her son that he gives to the protag when he talks to him
the note basically discloses that she knows she's a visitor, shes the one that killed her husband, and she doesn't want to risk harming her children, before asking the protag to take care of them for her
the children are always human since i'm not really sure how you would check a 4 year old and a newborn for signs of being a visitor aside from the eyes
