A player on Windows and I (Ubuntu Linux) tried the right-click on BR in Library > Manage > Browse Local Files
but the music files have disappeared.

These files are not for listening, they are used to load in game. With the new version, the music is embedded inside the executable. This is how the update released and most probably this is intended.

There used to be a separate folder in the same location with individual mp3 files called Buckshot Roulette OST
But if that is the case, they might need to change the Steam landing page for the game, then. Just pulled this from the current description saying the soundtrack is included
