As for connections to the games, Carbon Steel featured an eye creature during the August 5th nightmare which parallels the fleshy PC and overall "machine that feeds" message gotten from the ARG. Extracting things for data from underground is also featured in Control Room Alpha (further enforcing that this is a basic practice for this company) and having spiders, and CORE has Dealer-spiders while being underground.

The CT thing was just an observation of the gameplay and how it contrasts to Buckshot. Every playthrough of CT's the same set of turns to the point winning is already knowing where to land all your shots.
The whole theory about Dealer's origins and all the connections... it could be excused as Mike simply liking the idea of pulling things out of a hole under the EKRE logo/company, and the Dealer-spiders were just an asset he decided to reuse. But it's not impossible from a lore-perspective.

Ok so that's basically a thing in the 1.2.2 version of the itch.io release. After 1.2 (the version that came to Steam and had the 4 new items), you had to unlock double or nothing mode by beating the story mode twice. When the update got ported to itch.io, you still have to unlock the mode. However, Mike added a file that lets you immediately get access to double or nothing, and that file is the pills file.

It's techno, but it's hard to be more specific. When you find these tracks in the wild, they're usually not labeled as a specific kind of techno and there are a lot of different subgenres and types of sound out there.
So your best bet is to slowly build a catalogue of techno artists whose sound you like. And even then, you'll get quite a range from album to album.

I like the idea of a king gambling with the demon in a large room where banquets are held. Striving for yet more power. The massive table stretching to your left and right, with shadows of otherworldly guests partaking in the feast, as you and the demon sit across from each other and play a deadly game of chance.
Cups of wine which are being passed to you are normally half-filled, and the equivalent of the handsaw is tapping the cup, demanding it be filled with more of the same. The shadowy guests are happy to oblige as long as it is within the game's rules, and will pour more wine into the cup, according to what's already there.

If you lose, you collapse under the table and the shadows drag you into Hell. If you win, the demon shakes your hand and disappears. You're left sitting at the table alone, surrounded by empty cups, as the morning sunlight shines into the room.

- it's a replacement for handcuffs which would let you stack it on people (in other words very brutal)
- it gives you a second turn
- it lets you choose who the gun goes to next (i think this is the most likely as in the video, the opponent pauses for a bit while they held up the thing, so im pretty sure it opens a menu on the screen)

My biggest takeaway from the stream was that you can only shoot the players with the highest HP in multiplayer. And that's an awesome way to solve the issue of players dogpiling onto one person.
Being lower on health than the rest of the group gives you some breathing room.

We do use face masks because I don't want someone to lose an eye in the process. But the general rule is that shots are aimed at the torso, and if the player chooses to shoot themselves, the Dealer (who has no stakes in the game and just helps run things) grabs the gun and shoots them from a safe-ish distance.
The shotgun fires a burst of 3 BBs and the shots fired from across the table do hurt quite a bit even through a hoodie, but usually barely leave any marks on the skin.
The fear factor is definitely there.

Expired meds are Tic Tacs served in a blister pack left over from the vitamins I take. For the adrenaline I'm making a prop syringe with a retracting needle. It's not actually pointy, so you can jab yourself in the thigh with it and the needle retracts into the syringe, as if it was going inside you. Then pops back out on a spring, once you stop applying pressure to it.
Meds aren't particularly great in terms of gameplay, but people still enjoy the gamble.
They get distributed less than most items.

Normal game is split into 3 distinct rounds, with the track switching whenever you deplete the Dealer's charges and move onto the next round.
It's not clear if multiplayer follows the same structure.
Killing a player in a multiplayer round requires everyone to be at low-ish HP, so once one of the players dies, you can expect the others to start dropping soon too, within a turn or two. In which case, switching tracks after every death doesn't work well.
Unless the charges of remaining players are restored back to maximum after someone dies.
Then I guess you get 3 separate rounds in a game with 4 players, 2 rounds in a game with 3, and only a single round in a 1v1.

I think this is how it goes. We saw how the table gets cleared and the only time (in the current gameplay) it gets cleared is on a new round. Now this is under the assumption that the animation of the table clearing stays in the game

In this theoretical implementation the death of one player marks the start of a new round, with new items and full HP, but the dead player no longer being present.
Each next round ends up being shorter than the last, until only one player is left alive.

Also it's indicated, we can see in the video that after jamming the player to the right their defibrillator display turns off (and we can see this happened to the player on the left already) so there is a way to see it, but you can't see your own defibrillator if it's not your turn.
However, this could maybe just be client sided to help the active player keep track of who they've jammed, and other players can't see it until it's their turn.
What I find the MOST interesting is that there isn't a player across the table from us, yet their items are still there. Also their defibrillator isn't displaying the charges either. So this means that the 4th player IS there, but I guess CR Channel / Mike doesn't want to show us a fourth avatar right after showing us a third one (the guy on the right is new, we've seen the guy on the left in the previous BR video from this month).

Maybe different variations of the mode were tested. Clearing items and restoring health of surviving players if one dies VS continuing the game as normal after a player's death.

I guess it's different in a game with multiple players, because you don't really want to be cheated out of the rest of the loadout if you already had plans for it?
It all depends on how the death of a player affects our HP. If someone dying is supposed to trigger what is essentially the start of a new round, then you'd want it to happen right away, instead of risking also being shot to death within the same round, just because there were shells left in the gun.

oh yeah we've seen that one before, the current theory from all of us is that it's an uno reverse esque thing that changes the turn order. our evidence is that:
- a steam update where it was teased said it would only make sense with more than 2 people at the table
- the bilibili video doesn't spawn a single one for either player, likely because it would be useless in a 1v1 player game (which the bilibili video was)
