Take one finished animal and one finished crop that you are most often short of, and put them up at the top of your farm. You can harvest them, but don't collect the coins or seedlings from them. Also, put your outhouse up there as well. Doing this will make it super convenient for whomever is visiting you to find your icons, but MORE IMPORTANTLY, it will make sure you always get the maximum resources from a visit.

Lately I've been finding the majority of farms lack either a crop or an animal, sometimes BOTH. You'll get more when they visit and so will they. Wins for everybody!

Kira, I'm talkin' to you on this one. You're shorting yourself an extra crop and an extra animal product every time somebody visits you.

Whichever crop and animal you're constantly short on, take one of each of those, after you've let them grow for an hour and then harvested them, instead of squandering the leftovers for 2 seedlings and 3 copper coins, leave them at the top of your farm.

You'll get an extra crop and an extra animal product whenever somebody visits you.

Also, you are not remotely the only one who does this. You are in the majority. I'm just trying to spread a handy pro tip so we can all get more stuff.

Yeah, I'm sorry. I don't want to make anybody feel bad about the way they choose to play their game.
If it only affected you, yourself, I wouldn't be saying anything at all. It's just that it also affects me. And when it happens over and over and over again, a minor issue that by itself is easy to brush off becomes a bigger deal.

Yes. You can collect the normal harvest from them after they've sat for an hour. It's when they have the other icon of either a seedling or a stack of coins. That's the best time to set them aside. Preferably at the very top of your farm, so that the resources can mostly be collected in one place. The crates will always be at the bottom, but the rest can all be right at the top so that nobody has to hunt all through your farm to find them.

I think the whole visits not being optimized and that affecting you is frustrating, but comes with the territory of playing on a public platform. But gentle/fun reminders once in a while wouldn’t be hurtful I’m sure!

I'm trying to stick to the gentle/fun reminders, yeah. The problem with that is that calling someone out specifically gets SIGNIFICANTLY more attention. I've been sharing this pro tip for months, but the problem only seems to be getting worse, not better. But as soon as I mention the last person I visited whose farm doesn't provide the resources that are reasonably expected, now a lot more people are engaged with the idea. So I've been trying to be specific while ALSO making sure to be very clear about it not being a shaming thing, but a pro tip thing.

No worries, jas. What I'm talking about is that you can take, for example, a corn crop, grow it to maturity, harvest it, let it sit for an hour, harvest it again, and then take the remaining crop plot, with the sprout icon above it, and put that at the top of your farm.

Then, whenever anybody visits your farm, they can click on it and you both get an extra corn. Same with an animal. Do both and you can get an extra one of each every time somebody visits your farm.

It's a win for everybody involved!🥰

They mean this. Leave a greyed out animal and plant on the most top side area of your map where you get the energy gift from your visitors. This way you and your visitor will always get 1 ingredient plant and 1 ingredient animal every time you get visited. (Can even add your coin building generator up there too so easier for visitors to tap all.)

So since I run out of Corn and Milk the fastest, it's what I place for my visitors to tap on

There's no rules or level on what animal or plant you should put up there, it's all up to you because it's your own farm and ingredients
