yeah, someone must have gone right after. happens randomly. you technically lost mine, but you still got one as expected. you can avoid this by checking your farm just before trading, but still could happen at any time

It's good practice to avoid stacked visits by visiting a farm and returning without clicking anything you don't spend a ticket and it refreshes your farm so you can collect any random visits before requesting a trade in chat it doesn't solve it 100% of the time especially if a lotta people are playing and not trading in chat but it helps fsfs

After playin in the same game instance after a some time your destination list might not update for people that joined recently so then you just need to rejoin if you're trying to trade with someone and they aren't on your list

go to farm, don't click and come back is ALMOST as good as rejoining. every once in a while the game doesn't show that you got visited unless you rejoin (after game is open for a while), but going to someone and coming back is a quick way to see if your farm is clear

It you're on pc then you can try opening the game as a pop up instead, I find that feature pretty useful to see more chat while still have the game as a full tab
