you can do silver. Gold is the better even though you wait longer. The waiting means you will get higher tier parts but at the same rate as silver. Meaning you actually are saving some space. You can dig up any gold chests until you have merged 5 silver keys into 2 gold keys.

they rate of gem is increased for the gold but the greenhouse and soon your gazebo parts are the same basically

Land gets crazy expensive as you progress through the game but if you're not interested in saving it, you can also spend coins on trees and rocks in the shop. Works the same way as the naturally generating withered trees and rocks in newly obtained land except you can move them. (I actually don't know abt the rocks but ik for sure you can move the purchased trees wherever you want)

if you have a ticket you can ride the train and visit someone. collect the bubbles on their farm and when you return home you will have 10 energy. You have to drop 26-31 crates to get a ticket. But energy restores over time.. So, you mostly have to wait.
