If you get Energy that hasnt been picked up yet. So stuff thats on the map (from payed plots, or chests)

Merge them in groups of 5 (it will treat it like a group of 6, and add to itself. giving you free energy)

Continue this until you get the max energy bundle, and then you can colleted it and use it

I remember 'hitting the wall' on gems (earlier game play). It was so monster hard to wait like 2 whole months without collecting a gem at all.. Finally got a head of the hump and now have a few in reserve (only if I stay careful though... I could spend them all in a day, no problem. Just have to make decisions!. LOL)
