not at the moment. keys take a while to get, and you should go for silver chests. I recommend shovelling all chests until you have 5 bronze keys. then merge them and wait for a silver chest

merging 8 things is the same as merging 5 and merging 3, so you would get 3 2star cards. for the sake of space, you could merge 5 when you get them and then the other 3 when you get them
