the neon coloured land/premium land is what most if not all people prioritise spending their gems on. most things in the game can be obtained through time, but premium lands are always gonna be locked behind gems. I'm not 100% sure what you mean when you say "people keep saying it goes back and they don't return the gems" as this has not happened? there was minor confusion for some when a new patch of premium land came out last patch and people mistakenly thought land they'd already bought had been locked again, but this wasn't true - people just got mixed up 🙂

here are my opinions on the new update: the marketplace is quite frustrating. it might become easier to navigate with more practice, but it is currently very annoying to deal with. it is set up in a way that is very easy for the user to accidentally spend their gems. i really like the update where it shows the user how many experience points they receive from doing various tasks. it is very non-invasive and does not distract from the gameplay, and is a nice feature for users who like to track their progress. i wasn't sure where else to give this feedback so i'll just put it here. that's all :)

If you are opening a bronze chest, yes it will. But if you are opening a silver chest and you don't have any silver keys, this provides the ability to use bronze keys. In fact, you could buy 5 bronze keys at one time, 5merge them to make the two silver keys and open the chest for 75 gems, not the standard 90.

Farmers have asked why people keep max tier items on the farm instead of "cashing them in". One strategy is keep them on the ground so you don't accidently spend them. Keep your "bank" low to minimize the available amount of gems that can be lost. Of course, you have to have room on the ground to keep them, so not everyone can use this.

I was using the new marketplace for a couple of weeks (on Facebook), but didn't realize that I was a beta tester. I used a mouse/scroll wheel and didn't have any misclicks. I didn't explore good enough to detect the mouse change that you did. Nice catch. I did notice how easy it is buy keys. The auto-popup of the marketplace when you run out of crates wasn't in place either. This will require a little reprogramming of muscle memory to avoid "spamming" the drop button!
