You can't increase your luck from getting keys from the crates. However, you can buy keys from the shop which is why the key chests need to be left on a farm for a significant time. I buy keys from the shop using gems.
You can use the shovel to remove any locked chests you wont think you will use. For example, I only use gold chests - so I just delete all bronze and silver.

I'm not sure I can help you achieve it today. But I can help you manage to get it the other times. What I know, because people with more experience than me told me is:

• you see the shop, bottom left of your screen? Always buy the 50 coins items (tree or rocks) and keep them in bubbles (no need to buy the more expensive ones). Keep them for desesperate times.
• keep the the littles tools boxes, also.
  When you do need to spend energy, start with the shorter duration, but if you do the longer durations, use crystals when it's above 30 minutes, if you are in a rush.
• to get energy, do E-Trades. As much E-Trade as you can. Until you reach the 50 energy cap, after that please don't. If you keep using energy for littles things, hopefully you will not be too full of energy and able to keep trading.
• for right now, E-Trading can be a solution. How far are you?

Hi! Merge 5 is the best strategy. If you merge 5, that means you get the same reward as if you merged 6, but with only 5. You get better chances as merge bonuses, and overall it's nice. Do try to isolate items to indeed only merge 5 of them at a time if possible.

Not really. When people visit your farm, they always click on some things, which gives them (and you) rewards. These things are:

• Crates
• Animal ingredient
• Plant ingredient
• Energy (if they are below 50)
• Coins

You can select which animal and plant get clicked on, this way you always get desired ingredients (I always choose what I'm running low). To do this, you just place that animal/plant in the highest point possible of your farm. The same goes for energy, you can place a certain movable tree or rock or a toolbox in the highest point possible and that's where you'll receive the rewards.

Although there aren't different types of coins to receive, you can select which thing people click on your farm for you to collect the coins, placing them high up as well. For this you need to use cart vendor or decorations, whichever is higher up will be the one people click on - and the one you also click on to receive the coins.

Honestly, it doesn't matter much because you'll receive the same amount of coins regardless of what people click and there will always be one on visits. Most people just place a decoration next to other plants, animals and trees/rocks/toolboxes to have everything in one place, saves an extra second on visits, but that's about it.

I have the outhouse next to my plant, tree and animal. This way, when someone visits me, all the things I need to collect are in one place. It just saves a second, not a big deal.

People often use the outhouse because it's a small decoration and only takes up one slot.

  • Etrade : Energy Trade; make sure you have less than 50 energy
  • Ctrade : Crate Trade; When you have more than 50 energy

• Remove obstacles: Haybale/Tire can be removed by asking ppl for ctrade, just join game and ask anyone

• After asking for a trade, make sure to wait for someone to reply "omw" to start the trade.

• If there's multiple replies, reply to the first one, and let the second person know.

• Use Reply function to prevent confusion.

• Reply "dty" to inform the person youve completed the trade.

• If you have an obstacle to remove, ask for Ctrade instead of Etrade as otherwise it might take away one random thing away from the other party ( 💧 randomly to )

crate (c)trade or trade are for crates only because yes energy is over 50. Crates give drops and tickets so you can do more drops. I agree that most of the time people should spend 5 energy and get below 50. I make the mistake of forgetting sometimes.

Star Vault - general rule has been to NOT spend any stars in the vault until the last day of the game. You might have 'earned' the sticker; and, you have spent precisous stars. So, at the end your short. Save those stars and only buy the 800 pack (because by the end of the game you probably only need 5 star stickers.)

yep cosmetic, tap and can store it away for more room. I use it as a space filler. Sometimes my food trucks leave a space for those dumb coins to keep falling in so I put the coop there.

it does work like any structure. When people visit you they leave a coin on one of your food trucks. Put the coop higher then the food truck the coin will go to the coop.

There is a two part answer, for your question:
First, you can only get more energy when you are under 50 energy. When you are above, you do not get your jauge filled because it is full. You can get more energy by clicking on the energy bolt, or by collecting energy from trades.
How can you get 150, in this situation, if you do not have an energy bolt at hand, for example? You will ask me. You do not. That brings us to the second part:
The daily quest asks you to spend 150 energy. Not to gather it. You do not need to have 150 energy at the same time. You need to spend 150 energy during the daily quest time. You spend energy by cutting dead (and alive) trees, breaking rocks, and opening toolboxes.
The main strange spot, with your question, is the fact that you state that it is not calculating the energy that you are using. So, you spend energy on trees, rocks, or toolboxes? It did not get counted? If it's the case, I think you may need to submit a bug report (channel just under this one).

Energy consumption is reduced by 50%, but the time required to burn through the total 1050 energy stays the same — in fact, you need to perform twice as many actions to reach the target. This makes the mission feel heavier compared to normal conditions.

Example calculation:

• Normal:
  1050 / 75 (Tree/Rock/Toolbox Tier 2) = 14 actions
14 * 1070s = 04h 09m 40s

• During Energy Fiesta (-50% energy cost):
  Each action costs half the energy → you need twice as many actions to spend 1050.
  Total time then increases to ~8 hours+, almost double the normal duration.

The chop chop event is separate, and ends October 2nd. The update for the new features will begin October 6th and will rotate each week. October 6th - fast foward, October 13th Super Supplies... You can see these events on the calendar icon on Discord at the top of the chats/channels. Only one feature will be active a week, so it's important that you think ahead as I know some people have saved items to merge so that they can get double XP. (Ex: A level 10 item merged for 100k xp will give you 200k xp during the event, if you want to save items)

Did you know that there's a ton of other FUN games that you could be playing that isn't "Farm Merge Valley", made by small independent developers who actually deserve your money?

Case and point, they added predatory lootboxes, "social" features and microtransactions galore.
CoolGames/Zynga aren't the only companies with this business model, but they're the company to have horrendous flaws in their game code to allow for this!

PLEASE go support your local indie devs instead with games like Stardew Valley, Cookie Clicker, Dinkum, Fields of Mistria, Rusty's retirement, and so many others!

There's multiple issues happening. I can understand the loss of progress with the rollback but there are other issues. I can't collect rewards from visits. After visits, my ticket count remains at 3 and gives me a message (I've put in bug report). My stored energy from trees and rocks that I moved are invisible as well as the rewards when people visit me. It's there but there's no profile pic of the visitor on the items.

if you have the pass, it's normal, unfortunately... it's a bug and they will fix it eventually

what happens is: the regular rewards that are not from the pass are still there, but buried underneath the pass ones, so you can't get to them to claim and clear the notifications

if you lose the pass, you can claim the rewards and get rid of the exclamation

you can skip level 2 without any problem, just be mindful of space in your farm

my recommendation is: activate the first card immediately, then collect 9 more cards without activating any... when you get all 9, merge 5 cards, then merge another 3 (using 8 cards total) and you'll get to level 3, skipping 2 entirely

Hi! Someone very nice told me yesterday that there are two answers to your questions!
If you merge 6, it's a downgrade from merging 5, because you will consume all 6, even if you would only have used 5 if merged five, so don't do that... but!
You can merge multiples of 5 (10, 15, 20), and it will still get you the bonuses from merging 5!! I do find it wonderful. I'm easy to impress, but still, I do find it very cool.

You've got a few too many visits in there. I'd describe it as:

1. A visits B's farm, clicks resources and returns, says 'done' in chat;
2. Simultaneously to step 1, B visits A's farm, clicks resources and returns, says 'done' in chat;
3. If A doesn't have message bubbles on their base from B's visit then they would reload their game (or visit any other farm and return without clicking resources so as to refresh their farm without wasting another ticket). A then clicks messages bubbles on their base from B's visit.
4. Simultaneously to step 3, B does the same as A did in step 3.

Many times the visits will be done simultaneously and the message bubbles from the other person's visit are on your base when you return, but if not you just need to wait for their 'done' message and reload your base to see them.

I open gold, but someone said the difference between rewards, isnt much different and since you get more chances to open silver than gold (since you can only merge to get gold keys or buy from shop) it's worth it to open silver. But I still merge to gold and open gold chests - i don't think the difference is much.

Yeah, for a lower level, it probably is hard to complete all 10 tasks. You don't have as many shops to complete as many orders as a higher rank, etc.
*For crates, you can save your crates and only use them when you have a task that requires you to open crates.
*For energy - best to buy rocks/trees for 50 cents from the shop and save them in a few bubbles until you get a task where you struggle to use energy.
*For harvesting, if you have space, you can save animals/crops and only harvest when you need to.
*For the shop, you can complete orders only when the task requires you to. For me, I don't struggle for money anyway, so I don't even use the shops unless I am needing to complete orders.

For leveling up, just playing the game will get you to level up. Merge by 5, and if you have a lot of space, you can save your items until the double XP event happens at the end of this month.

Yeah, sorry to say they're all 5 stars. These are the images from the sticker books from the last event: #🌟│community-news message While the images/names are different, the values of the the stars on the stickers are the same.
It sucks that you wasted those stars, but in future its always worth saving them for the 800-star vault that gets you guaranteed 5 stars & always wait until near the end of the event to claim them, to fill in the gaps you didn't get through luck throughout the event.

If you use iPhone, Discord recognizes the game as a phone call. There is no fix to this, especially since Discord is strict on not allowing any media to play while in a "call".

You could play in your own server, and have a music bot if they are still around - but like I mentioned, Discord is strict on not allowing music to be played.

Best way (if you have room), stock pile trees & rocks that cost 50 coins, and also save energy (270 energy if you can). That’s the quickest way to do it. During the event that’s going on right now though, if you have energy saved, you can get max 100 energy spent every hour. So work on removing trees/rocks/toolboxes with the most amount of energy because you have 2 workers and the time is cut in half.

Definitely don't open at level 19 as you will start to get gazebo parts from the chests after level 20. The game has changed a bit since I was level 20 but I remember space being a big problem until about level 30. Now when you open chests you get both greenhouse parts and gazebo parts, provided you are above level 20, (only used to be greenhouse), so I would imagine if you opened chests at level 20 it will make your space problems so much worse... so maybe wait until about level 30. If you really want to open chests before then you could do so until they merge down to just a handful of higher level items but that will be tricky to co-ordinate with everythings chests drop.
