Ever since the daily tasks started, due to me being a "high" rank (level 59), I don't need any tools/wood/rocks necessarily. So I don't use energy unless I am needing to complete the task.
*I have a lot of 270 energy stored up as well.
*I also buy a lot of rocks/trees that cost either 50 or 125 coins from the shop and I save those up on my farm with the space I have on my farm. I also open chests and keep the toolboxes until I need to spend energy on those too.
When the tasks open for the day for me, I spend all the energy I have, and open crates to get tickets and use the tickets go gain more energy. Once I run out of crates/energy, and still have a lot of the energy task to complete, that's when I use the saved energy and use it so I can get the task done. At this point, I only play farm merge valley throughout the day completing tasks, and I hardly ever do anything outside of doing the tasks. If you do the method I do, I am able to easily get the tasks completed fairly quickly. For today, I am currently at 740/945 on energy, but I know I will be able to complete it because I have a bunch of rocks/trees saved that I can easily just spam and use 5 energy on allowing me to complete it if my task gets closed to resetting for the new day.

When you complete the whole sticker album the whole event resets (except for the timer), so you start it again with zero sickers, zero stars and you can work towards completing some of the packs again.

E003 and E005 errors are related to Internet connection issues (from your side, Discord's side, or FMVs - like you're unable to log in to the servers).
These issues are generally fixed after a few minutes by simply restarting the game.

If you are experiencing a black screen issue:

• If you play on PC: make sure that you've turned on "Hardware acceleration" (Discord settings > Advanced)

Quick question, are packs that give five star cards guaranteed to give a five star card that you don't have? Because numerous times I've opened 5-star packs and not gotten new 5 star cards and now all the sudden I got one? Or is it a random choice thing? I'm not sure how things are determined-- I've not bothered to look into it, just been playing the game.

But now that it's so close to the end of the season and it feels impossible to get all cards even with many hours daily, I've started looking into things because it just feels wrong

The only way to get a confirmed card is by utilizing the vault. (If you don’t know how that works I can explain it). But that’s why it’s important to wait until the end to buy the vault.
Don’t worry, you’re not the only one struggling. I’ve been stuck with needing only 10 stickers to complete the album. It’s been several weeks since I got a new card… At this rate, I don’t have enough stars to complete the album, and I’ve done the math on it and even with luck opening 4 star packs, it won’t even get me to complete the set. :/

I’m rank 59, so ranking up isn’t easy for me, so I’ve only been able to rank up once this album. But yeah, if you open from the vault throughout the time, it decreases your chances because the vault is the only way to get a guaranteed new sticker. So you don’t wanna use a sticker pack if you don’t have to.

It’s a game you have to grind for, but the album isn’t even fair unfortunately. I feel bad for people who have school or work that can’t play the game as much as me.

Hopefully they will fix this, they said they would look into it and I believe if they will change anything it will be this next album if I recall correctly

Early on in the game merging coins will give you the best source of XP. Always merge 5-at-a-time for the best result. Each higer level of any item will give you 3x more XP for merging than the previous level except for level 8 and 9 coins, which only gives you 4,374xp, the same as merging 5x level 7 coins. So it's definitely worth merging these up to level 7, beyond that depends how desperate you are for money.

Upgrade cards are used to upgrade your crops and animals to give you more drops. You can click on them and activate them to upgrade to the next level. If you have already done so you can then collect more over time and merge them together to get a higher tier upgrade. You can do this until the crop is a tier 3.

Just use the shovel and delete the excess chests. You will consistently get too many chests throughout the game, so there is no problem with deleting the ones you don't have keys for. I merge them up to gold first just for the small amount of XP.

I still believe doing mass merges gets you more lucky merges than doing individual 5 merges but I have no evidence to really back it up

Yes usually it’s the highest and right most spot on your farm. So if it’s currently a tree or brick you can clear it and place a toolbox there and when someone visits they will click on it to leave energy. You can then replace it with another tool box and save that “energized” toolbox for when you need energy.

The alternative would be for you to have opened 5 silver chests which would have most likely gotten you 1 tier 2 gem from each on average which in general is the same as getting what you got. The first person that shows when you click the train station is essentially random but you can change destination to whoever is currently in the VC. People leave and rejoin for a variety of reasons but yes when trading people leave and join so it allows the player trading to easily visit them.

• Remove obstacles: Haybale/Tire can be removed by asking ppl for ctrade, just join game and ask anyone

• After asking for a trade, make sure to wait for someone to reply "omw" to start the trade.

• If there's multiple replies, reply to the first one, and let the second person know.

• Use Reply function to prevent confusion.

• Reply "dty" to inform the person youve completed the trade.

If your game is starting with a pop up message along the lines of "Welcome Guest" instead of "Welcome <your nickname>", it means that either discord is still having some issues and can't connect to the game's server or maybe something else is going on. It usually solves by itself in some minutes (given the fact that discord is indeed having some issues and just made a possible fix for them) or you can try also clear your discord's cache if the issue continues even after discord confirms that everything is fixed (you can follow that in https://discordstatus.com/ )

It is not possible to disable specific message types. You can either block the bot (you won't be able to launch the game in it) or try the "ignore" feature (from what I understood you do not receive notifications when an ignored by you account sends you a message) and you would still be able to launch the game in there

i.e. for every merge of 3 items there is a 5% chance of a lucky merge. When you merge 5 it treats it as 2 x 3 merges, giving you 2 of the higher level and 2 chances (5% each) of a lucky merge

It's done manually. When you start the game in the same discord channel as other players you can see each other in the Train Station and visit each other with a ticket. Read the pinned messages in #🎮│farming-activity to understand the lingo used in that channel to negotiate and complete trades, which just means that 2 players visit each others farm and click on all the clickable items.

Over the course of the event you should have got enough stars to buy 5x 800-star chests. Imagine you buy those earlier in the event and are just chasing 1x 5-star card at the end: When you get a 5 star card there will be a 1 in 24 chance it is the card you need. Whereas if you had waited to buy those chests then you will be at the same position with 6x 5-star cards left to get: When you get a 5 star card there will be 6 in 24 chance it is a card you need... after which you buy the chests and get the 5 you're missing. (6 times more likely of getting that last card, plus a similar effect to all previous cards!)
Leaving the chest buying until it can get you across the finish line greatly changes your odds of completing the event.

And my 90% odds calculation requires leaving the chest collecting to the end.

These issues are generally fixed after a few minutes by simply restarting the game.

If you are experiencing a black screen issue:

When you merge 5 it treats it exactly the same as merging 6, so you get 2 out of it. This is the only thing you get an extra item for. You could merge 10, which will be treated exactly the same as merging 2x 5's, so you'll get 4 out of it. There is also the lucky merge, believed to be a 5% chance of getting an extra item out of each 3 items merged... when you merge 5 you get 2 x 5% chances at a lucky merge, so you will occassionally (~1 in 400 times) get 4 from merging 5.

You can agree to this if you have greater than 50 energy yourself (or less, it doesn't matter). This is also called ctrade.
The last one, , is offering a trade WITH energy... the person making the offer has less than 50 energy & will therefore give, and receive, energy when they visit. Only someone who also has less than 50 energy themselves should accept this offer. This is also called etrade.

  • Etrade : Energy Trade; make sure you have less than 50 energy
  • Ctrade : Crate Trade; When you have more than 50 energy

• Remove obstacles: Haybale/Tire can be removed by asking ppl for ctrade, just join game and ask anyone

• After asking for a trade, make sure to wait for someone to reply "omw" to start the trade.

• If there's multiple replies, reply to the first one, and let the second person know.

• Use Reply function to prevent confusion.

• Reply "dty" to inform the person youve completed the trade.

• If you have an obstacle to remove, ask for Ctrade instead of Etrade as otherwise it might take away one random thing away from the other party ( 💧 randomly to )

The 600 gems for the tier 7 gazebo part would be a better deal than the keys (I'm ignoring the other things you get from opening chests with keys though, and just considering progress twoards the gazebo)

Keep in mind, buying the gazebo/greenhouse parts from the shop with gems you miss out on getting a chance for lucky merges and the XP from merging.. I buy the greenhouse/gazebo whenever they pop up that are worth 50 gems. I also buy bronze keys too, that way I can get a chance for silver/gold keys to have a chance on lucky merges. Not sure if the method I do actually is worth it, but by doing this method, I'm able to get gems at a steady pace and never really run out because the shop doesn't always have the items that I want with my method.

They're certainly a problem. I wouldn't delete them. Try to keep them until you get more space. Opening them will result in more space beinig taken up, so resist that urge. Just try and push through and open up more space, deleting low level plants or animals as needed is a better option.

Yes, the best method is to save stars until the last day, because you will only theoretically should need only 5 star stickers left. Save up for the 800 star vault guaranteeing new 5 star stickers

• Visiting each other: Etrade / Ctrade

  • Etrade : Energy Trade; make sure you have less than 50 energy
  • Ctrade : Crate Trade; When you have more than 50 energy

• Remove obstacles: Haybale/Tire can be removed by asking ppl for ctrade, just join game and ask anyone

• After asking for a trade, make sure to wait for someone to reply "omw" to start the trade.

• If there's multiple replies, reply to the first one, and let the second person know.

• Use Reply function to prevent confusion.

• Reply "dty" to inform the person youve completed the trade.

• If you have an obstacle to remove, ask for Ctrade instead of Etrade as otherwise it might take away one random thing away from the other party ( 💧 randomly to )

Chests from prior to the last update (the one that put Gazebo parts in the chests) are different than chests that dropped after the update. So around the time of the update this was a regular question because you cuold merge 5 of the old chests or 5 of the new chests but you couldn't merge old and new chests together (even they they seemed identical). I'm scratching my head wondering how you could possibly still have old chests, but it seems like this same problem.
