There is no maximum, but often you need to show up playing at the same time in the same channel. There does seem to be a bug they make some people not show up at the train station. Restarting the app sometimes fixes that, but other times you might need to click the word visit when they join or join the game from the activity in their profile

Realize that it hurts just as much for most of us here. We've all put in all that XP and gold, a lot more because we're higher levels, and we see all these cases of others having a cheaper.
I understand it's doubly rough having friends being on the test group, but there's not a lot that can be done about that until the test is over

I would say, just enjoy playing casually? It doesn't have to be a race, even though I know it's fun with your friends playing comparing progress

When that happens, you and the others automatically are friends and are able to visit each others using the train station with a ticket. When others visits you they'd see the icon and then you'd need you refresh your farm to accept the help/visit gifts.
(You can refresh your farm by visiting another farm and not interacting with anything then head back and it won't consume your ticket, or leave/rejoin the Activity.)

I recommend playing over at #💭│general channel to get familiarize with the Server. Then, you are free to play your game anywhere else or try the most active channel to do trade visits with over at #🎮│farming-activity . More info about trade visits at it's Pinned Messages.

All of the chests are relatively balanced. There is a 50% chance that you'll get a bonus gem out of a silver chest, but I'm pretty sure that's accounted for in the balancing rates. Silver seems to be the best one to open just for convenience and not getting a bunch of smaller items from the bronze chests. But if you are limited on space, opening only gold saves space.

You don't actually have to add anyone as a friend, they would just be at your train station when you play in the same channel

Is there an advantage with merging more resources? I know at least marching five is advised. But is there some sort of cap of certain amount of resources where it is not advantageous to merge? Like sometimes I merge 10+ resources but I don’t know if that gives me the same return as merging groups of five.

To have an heavy item removed you need to play in a channel were more players are playing. Then people will be able to visit you via the train station using a ticket. During a visit, people might be prompted to help with the heavy object

It can be used to block off areas so things don't land there, or as decoration, or flex... But really there's no other reason not to just consume it once it gets to that highest tier (or shovel it away if you don't want the extra energy). Some people like using those 270 energy bolts to do a bunch of small jobs in a row, but other people shovel them away so that they stay below 50 energy for visiting friends. Other people just let them lay all over the place cluttering up their farm. Just find what works best for you

That's because this Discord server won't let you create more invites to here. I'm not sure if it will work if you were playing somewhere other than this server.

That being said, you don't need to use that invite thing or add any friends or anything. Everyone here in this server is your friend if you were just playing in the same channel as them. #💭│general is a great channel to start playing in. Just Go to that channel and press the activity button next to the text input box, and then once you are playing let that channel know that you have an object to be removed. You can also play in any of the other channels with an activity icon next to it or the voice channels below, but #💭│general would probably be a good channel to start in

Tool boxes cannot be combined. Just the tools that come out of them. The higher level tool boxes come out of silver and gold chests. You can get the level 2 and level 3 ones from the silver chests

By experience, recipes asked by the trucks are random no matter what ingredients you have, so it might indeed take some time until it asks you for that specific recipe. As for the discovery book, the recipe will be unlocked there only after you produce it on the truck and claim its coins.

Oh, yeah as far as opening it privately, it seems to populate the list with friends you visited before rather than Maggie once you've played with some other people. I only see Maggie sometimes now when I open the activity in new places, I don't know if there's really a way to fix that. I do wish there was a way to remove inactive players from your private lists. Is there a reason you'd rather visit the bot rather than other players that are here?

I'm on level 15 of the game I absolutely love it. The game helps with anxiety and keeps you mind occupied during idle moments. Yet, I have ran into an issue with the game. I have 25 gold chest and 24 tool boxes. Other than that issue every other item outside of that I have 2 of which is currently taking up every square inch of the land I've purchased literally. They mostly just take up space and look pretty, but you can also move them around so they become the building that the coin lands on when people visit you.

I would recommend not repairing that windmill until much later in the game, because you'll need those tier 10 tools to repair other things like the Tomato on Wheels

The nicest thing about repairing a decoration is the fact that you can then put it away in your decoration barn

Until today I was able to run Farm Merge Valley in separate window from discord itself. But now it's running inside the chat window and even hide itself as long as I increase the size of the window to fit my wide pc monitor showing picture the app should be portrait-oriented to run.

That results in a small window not even wide enough to show me the whole width of the farm. That's way to inconvenient.

Only if you want to be able to move where you collect coins to the very top of your farm or something. Otherwise things like the outhouse and chicken coop don't really matter. They are just decorations

Also, if you repair them, you can put them away in a decoration barn that appears after you repair the first one.

I would definitely not repair the windmill though until much much later After the Tomato on Wheels and even then it takes a tier 10 tool which is time-consuming to get to

That's just a connection error between your device and the game servers. Some network somewhere along the way between the two is causing issues with the connection. There might be an outage somewhere even if it's not where you live. It could be your home internet, your ISP, Discord servers, FMV, or anything in between.

I would say just try relaunching the game, trying a different Wi-Fi, try a different device, or just wait until later.

If ever you have black screen issues, you can try turning on hardware acceleration and clearing discords cache, and you can give those a try too as well if you're having connection issues but that probably isn't the problem

I repaired the outhouse and it didn't really slow me down, and it was nice to put it up close to where I collect my energy for convenience. It's pretty cheap to repair, so I wouldn't worry too much about the tools, but you can wait if you want.

The chicken coop I repaired just so I could remove it from the farm and have the space, but again that's up to you.

Correct. Some people don't have energy on their farms though if they've chopped all the trees and mined all the rocks and toolboxes. It's rare, but it happens. Also if they have an object to be removed, it will randomly select another item not to be there.

If you don't claim anything, you can leave the farm and it won't consume your ticket.

Also, it's perfectly fine just to play more casually and not worry about visits back. If you play in #💭│general people often just visit each other without any requirement to visit back

In order to remove your Haybale, Tire or Tractor: you need to open and play your game on any channel with other players in it (Voice or Text Channel). When that happens, you and the others are automatically friends and are able to visit each other using the train station with a ticket. When others visits you they'd see the icon and then you'd need you refresh your farm to accept the help/visit gifts (these gifts do not stack).
(You can refresh your farm by visiting another farm and not interacting with anything then head back and it won't consume your ticket, or leave/rejoin the Activity.)

I recommend playing over at #💭│general channel to get familiarize with the Server. Then, you are free to play your game anywhere else or try the most active channel to do trade visits with over at #🎮│farming-activity . More info about trade visits at it's Pinned Messages.

You visit other people's farms the same way you visit Maggie. To join in a text channel, press this icon next to the chat box (it may look like a game controller on some OS)

When the timer gets to 1 hour and above I usually spend 5 gems to speed it up, but only if I'm clearing them for a specific goal, like fixing a vendor fast. I spend it because I'll get a nice coin return so I'm okay with losing some gems.

But that also needs to be paired with energy management... If I don't have boxes/energy/visits there's no reason for me to speed them up. Example: I just spent 45 energy cutting down a tree. If I can get to 50 energy immediately I speed it up. If not, I chill and wait.

Important to note: I have a lot of gems to spare, if you are still working on clearing the purple spaces, I'd focus on that first.

Right now I don't have anything to fix so I'm not spending any gems at all, just chilling and waiting 2 hours for each... It's a peaceful life.

You were likely one of the players who were able to progress faster with coins and XP than normal for a while.

You can refresh the list of players on the train by simply rejoining the activity game in Farm Merge Valley (leave and join again).

Alternatively, you can ask the player you're trading with to rejoin the game. This will trigger the popup to appear again, allowing you to click the "Visit" button and visit their farm directly.
