It's normal and similar to new level cloud area unlock. Everything slows down and costs more (EXP and coins) the higher level you go up

i mean you definitely merge 5 but i get the point you make. with coins they've made it scale up in a way where it's always worth to merge so i had figured they'd done the same with chests but i guess not.

The wiki seems to say that all chests give equal value per key and therefore you can open whichever one so that's neat.

personal opinion, i don't think the maths really matters too much, you're "losing" out on resources/xp when you sleep/work/study/irl more than you are if you decide to open the least minmaxed optimal chest 🙂 i know a few on the server who are gold chest only openers 😄

Eh the little differences do add up over time, like with merging coins. Not in this case though as they're identical but I think I might continue only opening gold chests only anyway cause the materials I get out of chests just mostly lie dormant for me (especially the toolboxes) and space is kind of limited right now so I'd rather open a lesser amount of gold chests than open a lot of bronze ones I think.

I'd rather not get the cookie cutter answer of "play with them in the same channel" but why is it that some people I have visited in the past are permanently showing up in my train station no matter where I choose to launch Farm Merge Valley (including in DM with the official bot). Some of these people don't even play the game anymore and haven't launched the app on their end in weeks. Then other friends, whom I play with a lot and who are actively and currently playing and able to visit my farm despite not playing in a channel with them, those people do not show up in my train station about 19 times out of 20 when I launch the game.

The similarities might appear from a visitor's perspective as the player's view might vary, but they indeed until a certain level kind of look the same, personally, I think it's mainly because of the space issue.
Trees and stones: some users work at one obstacle or a couple at a time, others kind of work on all of them at the same time. Some might rather only buy land when they clean one land completely and then they buy the next one and others buy whenever they have enough coins.
Toolboxes: same as above (but you can't buy them), but you can also use them to "accumulate" energy ( https://discord.com/channels/1158408201344135258/1287397695606095973 )
Coins and gems not being collected: some people like to flex it, others like to use it as deco and other use it to have them on places were they don't want the trees/stones/tools to fall.

My advice is to visit farms with the ingredients that you're low on and to have the same ingredient being left on the most top of your map so your visitors always tap these when they visit and you get 1 in return. Also, if you visit other people and you don't tap anything you can return home without your ticket being used

hello! I was farming wood and stone to repair a loom, and not long ago the requirements were 3 biggest stacks of wood and stone each. I just finished collecting all of the materials and come to find out that requirements changed to 5 wood, 3 stone and a screwdriver. Is it a bug or some kind of update? everyone is considered your friend within the server. you do not need to directly add somebody in order to visit them or be visited. id suggest going into #🎮│farming-activity and ask for people to visit you! usually they'll ask for you to visit them back so make sure you have some train tickets on hand.

ALSO! make sure you're playing the game activity in the SAME CHANNEL you are chatting in. you will not be seen by the people you're chatting with in the game if you have the activity open in a different channel. for example, if you were playing the game in the #💭│general chat while talking in the #🎮│farming-activity chat, only people playing in the general chat would see your account there.

Its total XP not distance to the level, it is "(current xp) / (required xp)" for both of us(have done screenshares to confirm), they have unlocked 6 more areas than me starting at the same time, because expanding costs less for them than for me 😅

Users can move between different channels. Since there are language-specific channels for various countries, feel free to explore them! Once you're in a channel that suits you, just let others know in the chat that you'd like to trade, and I think people will respond to you.

Have you adjusted the 'Channels & Roles' settings? Did the channel locations change even though you didn't do anything?

While the area is small, you can break trees, rocks, and toolboxes, but it might be a good idea to focus on breaking just one of them. Otherwise, with crops and animals around, your farm might end up in chaos. I think you should focus on either trees or rocks and use your energy to completely clear one of them from the farm.

the loom is available on level 25 land but the sheep unlock at 30, hope that helps.

Hello! The plan was to run a test for some time, analyze data and make any necessary adjustments before deploying the balancing changes to all players. Overall, our goal is to make progress faster (and release new levels around May)

i know you can merge 3 - 5 -8 -10 etc of the same thing to get 1-2-3-4 etc but do you get more as the number increses / does it not have to be multiple by 5 to get a bonus 5 merge ? I am talking about big merges , do they have an advantage or i should just merge 5 to get maximus profit?

The max bonus to get a lucky merge is 5, so you would want to merge by 5's and no there is no benefit from it other than time consumption. Try not to merge by 15 or 30 though because the game prioritize you doing a 3 merge on those
