I'm seriously concerned for your eyes, if this white (snow) on your screen is killing your eyes, You Need A Doctor. Serious some light should not cause macular strain. Give your eyes a work out cuz some day your going to be old and blind for real. Deal with the snow and give your eyes some exercise! Living in 'dark mode' may reduce eye strain but your pupils are so dilated your giving yourself eye strain... Anyway, sorry it hurts and I should not lecture. I just care about eyes.. LOL (I had to have a surgery so I could see... So, sorry if I 'preached') 🤭

i think the issue with the solo dm is that theres like 200k people in this server who it could choose. If you want to find a friend then you can launch the game in a small server that youre both in

It will take you more time and more cards either way. If you go from level 1 to 3 directly, you will only need 8 level 1* cards, and 9 if you want the bonus from an extra level 1* card.

If you have 3 level 1* cards, make 1 level 2* card and use it, then you will need to collect 8 or 9 level 1* cards, in addition to those 3 cards. In total, you would need 11-12 cards.

If you have 5 level 1* cards, make 2 level 2* cards, use 1, then you will need to collect 5 or 6 level 1* cards. In total, you would need 10-11 cards.

Anyone else have this problem of needing 85,000 points to open up another 9 squares of land? I’m at level 48. I have no rocks or trees and I have 33,000 points but am 55,000 points away to have anything to do. It’s basically stopped me in the game. It’s going to take weeks to get 55,000 more points. 85,000 points for 9 squares is way too much. I thought gems were taking forever to collect. This is worse.

Well we actually do need 85,000 coins to open up very few squares right?? So no trees, no rocks and nothing to do. Except for waiting for boxes and then you can’t even use the train ticket to go save up lightning from other farms because they cap you at 50. When you have 50 coins or more you’re not getting anything worth anything but boxes.

Yeah, and that too!! It’s almost 370,000 to get to the level 49 so I’m assuming it would be way more for each level. The game isn’t balanced. I’m sure they’re going to come out with Christmas decorations that are going to cost a fortune in gems and those gems take months to accumulate. 🤦‍♀️

Oh i know that. Believe me!! I’ve worked hard for months and months to get where I am. I’m not into fast, I’m into having things to work on. That’s my beef. I feel stuck with nothing to do but log on every 4 hours to collect my 5 gems, lightning and boxes. Then use my boxes to try and make recipes. That’s all that left for me personally right now. I’m not into cheating either to get further into the game. I’ve literally spent months and months and probably thousands of hours since I started. Now it feels like it’s going to take hundreds of hours to just open up a few squares. Not very exciting in my opinion. Anyway, enjoy your game. I just wondered if anyone felt like I did. I kinda feel the burn. There's a LOT of balance changes that need to be done than putting a christmas hat on stuff. Like, I love how festive the staff is, but maybe implementing stuff to keep the game fresh. And urgent stuff like making the extra workers not buggy or the overheating issue. The other day I fell asleep with the game on for like 1.5 hours and I woke up because it was SO HOT. Scarily hot, that feels a bit dangerous even.

I think you’re right. I just looked at a screenshot I took November 13th and I had 2,500 coins. I also had trees and rocks left to help me. Now it’s December 4th and I’m only at 31,500 coins so basically it’s going to take me till the end of January to get the 85,000 for another 6-9 squares to open 😫🤦‍♀️ that’s ridiculous!!

thanks for this post, it is how I am feeling. Some people are feeling I'm a bit aggressive when I tell them to stop complaining about early game, cuz end game has nothing to do. Nothing to spend energy on, no way to visit people cuz they want energy and I'm capped. Little, if anything to do but log on for a box to merge animals to log off until I have more boxes (again since visiting people without an energy trade sets them off.) I took my time, spent no irl money (sorry farm merge creators). I understand early game excitement but temper it with some reality of what the end game may look like. ((However, I see it may be time to stop instead of try to slow other down, they will hit the real wall someday. LOL))

yep, same here. Have to wait 4 levels, which will take a long time. Seems very off balance to get the tomato cart and not get tomatoes until level 50 is reached. I play every day, many hours, some days all day. Still been 3 weeks and only reached 48.. Long way to go before I get my tomatoes. At 48 you get another recipe for the tomato cart, how stupid is that, the game design itself does not even give you tomatoes yet!!

The change from needing in the 20k something to open up more land to what we have now, like 85k is unrealistic IMO and I had no idea until this morning that you could spend money on this game. I’ve been using discord in my iPad or phone to play and I’ve never seen an option for paying money. I guess that explains a lot now. I was wondering how in the heck some of these farms i visited at Halloween had enough gems to buy all the Halloween decorations. I know the gems take me months to collect to get even enough to open up any pink land. I think it’s time for a break. It’s hard to do though. They get ya hooked with the 5x boxes, lightning and gems regenerating every 4 hours making a habit to come back to collect those. It’s the only way I’ve been able to save gems 🤦‍♀️

hmm, that's a genuine personal preference. I do all orders no matter what the "efficiency" if i've got the ingredients for it. I do tend to prioritise higher coin returns first and if i run out of ingredients then 🤷 but i am not one for hard minmaxing so that may not work for you.

you can always separate the shops that you feel don't give you a good deal - i've definitely visited farms where they've banished the farmers market to the shame corner in their farm because they hate it so.

atm, no. there's been community suggestions as to how to improve the flow of the shops spread out in the feedback forums, we just got to wait and see if the devs choose to concentrate on that side of the gameplay or not

some people also like to have the visual of all of their shops working away hard too. i've done the "strategy" of just not taking on any orders for a set period of time to build up an ingredient surplus so it "feels better" when i can just collect all coins from the shop and not worry about my supply, regardless of the efficiency of whether 3 wheat is really worth 2 coins.

If you don’t receive energy when someone visits you, it’s because the person who visited you couldn’t give energy bc they was full. If you visit someone, even if your energy isn’t full, you should still receive energy if you click on the energy icon in the farm of the person you’re visiting

Unless you are above Level 50, I wouldn't recommend buying keys with gems just so you can open chests that have fewer gems than you spent on the keys. That's a net loss.
You'll get keys eventually. Just plan on not opening every chest you get (realistically, about half of them), and only silver ones. If you want to, you can save bronze chests and try to get three to merge to a silver.

Just get used to never spending them and saving all of them to 5-Merge. (I will usually 3-Merge the single 1# gems though.) Store identical gems in a vertical line as much as possible to prevent accidentally merging when moving them. If you don't have a lot of space, always 5-Merge your gems as soon as you can.
