Try to always merge 5 as much as you can
If you're gonna resource farm (Wood, Tools or Bricks) focus on one resource at a time since it can take a lot of precious real estate that you don't have early in the game.
Don't visit maggie and visit players when you are missing energy so that both you and the player you visit get energy

You can skip a level 2 upgrade card and jump to 3star. When you have enough cards to 3star it won't give you anymore. It used to be able to in the past and people use to farm gems with it. Now it's just a lucky chance to get gems off extra cards.

Yes they are permanent. People save their cards to upgrade to 3star. The game stops givving you cards when you have enough to 3star. Any extra cards will turn into gems.

Is there some faster way to getting greenhouses other than through the locked crates? By some quick calculations it would take hundreds if not thousands of hours to finish at the rate that I’ve been getting them

Other than using fives to use less mats, I’m halfway thru lvl 43 and I’m at T8 for the greenhouse. Prioritize gold/silver chests would be my advice, and maybe spend a while stocking up on keys so you can open a few chests as you grind. That’d be my personal advice. It’s a long-term in-game investment, so you can just, not do it. But to each their own

Oh and merge chests, that’s useful if the timer on a chest is running out but you don’t got the keys to open it yet

you can upgrade your crops/animals with upgrade cards that increase the amount of resources they drop when you harvest them. the max for any crop/animal is 3stars at the moment.

no hotkeys for PC unfortunately. I think possibly because it might've been designed as a mobile game type thing originally. you can click and drag with right click to move around your farm without moving crops/animals around and that's the main "tip" i can think of

In the past this can happen, but not anymore. The game stops giving us cards when there is enough cards it gave to 3 star our plants/animals. You should not hold onto your cards anymore, you can only get extra cards from hitting a lucky merge. So try to merge 5.
