You merge items to get crowns that increase your level. You don’t really need to do it, but you just give yourself more chances of increasing your level. You can also get more coins by merging them i.e. merge 5 3$ coins, you get 2 9$ coins (so you gain 18$ instead of 15$) essentially you earn more coins by merging less.

hey, you don't need to add people as friends if you're needing help to remove obstacles. launch the activity on ⁠farming-activity or any voice chat, and ask people on the text channel to visit your farm. Since the train station randomly displays 25 players, you may have to relaunch the activity so other players can click on the notification to join your farm.

That must be a bug, if you leave and rejoin the activity and it is still happening, even after some hours, see at the bug report channel if someone has the same issue and report it there, if it's not reported yet, create your own post about it. Your game progress is not depended on which server/channel you play

I was asking if you were playing, for example, at Facebook then wanted to change to Discord, which is not possible to sync progresses neither visit people that are playing at a different social media. Now, if all your progress was made at Discord and you are trying to visit people at Discord, then the issue isn't that. You should be able to visit anyone's farm independently if you played with them before or are not friends with them as long as you are playing in the same place (voice channel, text channel, direct message).

I'm still confused abut why people want to hoard upgrade cards. Yes, getting gems for "unused" cards is certainly a treat! When it happened to me, WOW! But, you don't get those gems until you finally upgrade. There is an important thing that people are missing. When you "use" the upgrade card, you permanently get more yield from every harvest of that item. More harvest means more ingredients for the food trucks. More use of the food trucks means more money is being generated and then 5merged to the max tier. This is the quickest way to get XP points and level up. I realize that everybody plays differently, but leveling up and opening new lands, items, trucks, and (yes) even decorations seems to be of more interest. Hoarding upgrade cards takes a lot of land which most don't have at lower levels of play and slows your game play. (sorry, this probably should be in General instead of questions, but I'm following another discussion.)

Just so you know, not everyone you visit will give you energy, you can only collect it if your own energy is above 50 (so 49 or less) and if the player you are visiting has obstacles such as stones, trees or tools boxes in their farm.

Personally, for initial levels (around the 20th) I would recommend to focus on one thing at a time to do because of the space, so, if I want to cut trees, I wouldn't open boxes, unless for getting tickets to collect energy but the crops occupy space so I would either merge 3 or just shovel them
If I want to collect coins I would first open boxes to collect as many materials until it seemed enough for me and then stop opening boxes and just produce coins
It might seem as a waste of resources, but considering the space available it was worth it for me

I've been at this farm for 11 months and if I 3merge, I could get 1 Tier 11 greenhouse part. I'm grinding through average of 800 crates a day. That's two more YEARS to complete the greenhouse. Some folks indicate that they got the full green house much earlier. I don't see how, unless you drop some serious cash to buy crates, a lot of crates. If I have missed something, I hope someone drops a hint (a not so subtle hint please)

Any suggestions on how to legitimately get "unlimited crates" (And with that many crates, you still have to contend with getting keys and the "cool down" associated with the chests.) Actually, if you caught up with me in your 4 months, what's your secret? I'm starting to feel that I am doing this wrong. My experience has shown that bronze chests are a little bit better for greenhouse parts, just a bit better. Now, I'm merging bronze keys to open silver chests and using gems to open bronze chests. I don't have many bronze or silver chests disappear on me.
