Well tbf they actually haven’t retconned anything as far as I understand. Everyone is “force-sensitive” to a degree, however talent is a big factor as stated by Ahsoka. So Sabine just like anyone else with enough training become adept in the ways of the Force. Whether she will be as potent as Yoda, time will tell

it takes a lot of the excitement out of fights when you know there’s a good chance that the guy that gets cut from a lightsaber will probably walk it off

This is my main gripe and it’s completely valid. Idc whether or not someone surviving a seemingly lethal blow makes sense or not given the context. I care that these seemingly lethal blows have been proven to end up not be lethal at all. It begs the question, who cares about the intensity of lightsaber fights if the intensity isn’t matched by the lethality or outcome of a “lethal” blow? I don’t. Why would I lol.

SW is terrible repeat offender but these feelings are the same for literally any other movie or show where for example if someone gets impaled by a traditional sword through the torso they just “receive immediate medical attention” or it’s supposed to be assumed the blow did not make contact with a “vital organ”. Or could even go more modern for example and take a media franchise in which main characters consistently take multiple bullet wounds to the torso yet they somehow survive because they got medical attention or the bullets didn’t hit “vital organs”. You can defend and justify that kind of thing forever but at the end of the day it’s just lazy writing and absolutely lame af

Yeah the fog looks a bit off with the lack of scope of the fight itself but due to the scenario being kind of a dream sequence, being a bit trippy and being just pure chaos it’s passable . At the very least said budgeting issue is not crappy like boba or kenobi where the technical issues don’t have much leverage on their scenarios like the lightsaber being too bright or the scenes being shot poorly

Or the recent disney remakes like little mermaid where it can be too dark or the sea is just really really empty

Is it passable, though? Isn’t the inital environment Ahsoka was in apart of the “kind of a dream sequence” as well? And that felt much more organic and immersive… meanwhile the CW scenes were just a dark mishmash of dust and smog

true, but honestly it didn't bother me much the flashbacks had this hallucination vibe like someone was in control ie: anakin (those scenes aren't a full reflection of what actually happend in CW heck Anakin straight up invades an event that he wasn't even present in) whilst WbW is like the actual thing that no one would have control on it's appearance. these are just my thoughts but I am a bit afraid stating them here
