The Darksaber was an ancient black-bladed lightsaber. It had a unique blade that was shorter than that of most lightsabers, and shaped like a traditional sword. Its overall profile was distinctly Mandalorian with an angular pommel, hand guard, and slit-shaped blade emitter, all of which was made out of beskar.

one of the points the Armor tried to make in S2, "why beskar weapons are forbidden" despite beskar weapons being one of the key parts of a mando arsenal in legends where they seem to primarily take from
not sure how the exoskeleton's servos haven't busted themselves under the force of both gideon's beskar armor plating and the beskar hilt
and also sparks the question: why can't someone wearing a beskar gauntlet dent another's beskar armor? seems like there'd be way more dents seeing how often mandalorians fight eachother
