it freezes specifically on loading the mod? not even preloading icons?

can you open safe mode and then go to geode mod list, view globed, press settings and disable preloading
and see if that fixes anything

in that case, do this for me
- open safe mode again, open settings for geode (not globed)
- set File Log Level to trace
- restart the game without safe mode
- when it freezes, wait for a few seconds, then close the game
- in ios launcher press "View last game log" and upload it here
