#kcpshim aren't getting connections

Did you get KCPshim to run on a linux distro or not
Or do you mean that you aren't getting connections
But it is running
It seems you mean the latter
You say remote linux in one sentence, then talk about running KCPshim on WSL
I'm not really sure what your setup actually is
Are you able to get it to work on Windows locally, but not remotely?
Or are you not able to get kcpshim working at all
I looked at your images again and I think I know what you're talking about now. On WIN+WSL, usually best to use KCPshim on WIN
Some users report it will not work on WSL
If you have a standalone linux machine truly remote, maybe check firewall
You do need to open the ports if you are using a VPS or something
Uh yeah I guess that's one way to try and do it
I just use ufw
What about in the patch...?
If your yidhari.exe's accompanying tentacle.dll doesn't have the IP of the server you are trying to reach
How can you expect your client to find some random server you hosted somewhere?
You may want to use the real IP rather than 0.0.0.0
I mean just replace all 0.0.0.0 with 8.X.X.X
Whatever your IP is
I don't think you need my configuration. Also I run a self-modified version remotely for my outpost/f2p to use and it's fine if you use real IP
kcpshim aren't getting connections
The only additional changes i made were to host multiple servers from one dispatch
Otherwise it would be the same
Did you use the right version with everything consistent with 2.7.0 prod?
I don't have a prod server right now
I think there's something wrong with your server. I don't use provider firewalls
I just use something along the lines of ufw
Why were you trying to use a remote server?
I do provide one open to the public
I will be implementing a prod 2.7.0 one soon
You did recompile kcpshim yes?
Your prior images are gone
But you do need to set IP and port on kcpshim and recompile
Prebuilt kcp shim won't work
Using real IP?
Or still 0.0.0.0
I said to use a real IP everywhere. No 0.0.0.0
But you can login fine. Just cannot connect to game, yes?
i.e. actually enter session and reach the world
Bro
Only change bind addresss
Not connect address
Connect need to be the IP of the gamesrv
Usually 127.0.0.1
even if that's the case, it should still be fine if he specifies the true IP
unless his configuration is just fucked
it should work with any ip as long as is the ip of gamesv
i don't think not using 127.0.0.1 is his problem
Simply
It's unrelated
as long as he don't put some 0.0.0.0 bs should be ok
he claims to have tried every combo which isn't even what i suggested him to do
i think he doesn't know how to manage the firewall on his VPS probably
well on the ss he sends he uses 0.0.0.0
Just one of two. He said he tried all combos and same results
