wcs on top
THE GREAT WAR! The lyrics remind me of a novel I had read. I could play this song over and over again without getting bored.
#answer delicate tay please!
bttws
#answer corndog
midnights 3am is fav part of taylor’s discography 🫶🏻 name the track, i’ve been obsessed with it. my favorites over time have switched from The Great War, High Infidelity, Glitch, WCS, and Dear Reader and i’m currently obsessed with Paris i’m so mad at myself for ignoring the 3am tracks when they came out, they’ve turned into my obsession over time. the production is top tier and the lyrics are poetic
#answer 3 dad virgins
The Great War. Sadly it is overshadowed by wcs for all the reasons. WCS is an amazing song as well, but for the 3AM track that stuck with me since release it would be this. Its brutal, its sad, its a trip down sob lane.
#answer 3 Sad Virgins
paris. Many people hate this song but i really love it. It shouldve been on the standard album. Its such an romantic song.
#answer 3 sad virgins pls
i love them all so much but rn i have to say dear reader, i love the lyrics even jack's production which is rare. they're all SO good tho. i feel like midnights is one of her most under appreciated albums
#answer and zombie tay role please
oh i typed 3 dad virgins
yea that wouldn't work lol
WCS is probably the best Midnights 3AM track imo because it’s a song that touches back to a part of Taylor’s life long ago and now that she has grown older and looked back on it, we can see her more wiser and more mature when looking back on something that happened. (High Infidelity an honourable mention as well)
#answer corndog
would've could've should've has my heart since its release. i relate to every single lyric and it made me work through some stuff. it gave me space for feelings i didn't know i had burried deep down.
#answer Midnights The Til Dawn Edition
Wcs is the best by far. Literally my 2nd fave song by Taylor. However, I don’t like midnights 😭 I think the album is kinda boring and I don’t like a lot of the songs on the album.
#answer corndog
Would've, Could've, Should've is my favorite 3AM track. It just so epic with the drums and the lyrics. Take that man to task, Taylor.
Would’ve could’ve should’ve for sure. No explanation needed. That’s MY song.
#answer corndog
i was gonna vote the great war because it’s my favorite but honestly it’s WCS - no matter how overplayed it is at this point it is genuinely one of her strongest, most hard-hitting songs. and unfortunately very relatable.
#answer i am once again asking for folklore lpss 🙏 thank u!!!!
would’ve could’ve should’ve i actually love this song so so so much, it may be overplayed sometimes but it fits the midnights aesthetic so well and really brings it out!! plus the fact it hits hard is just like yes pls
#answer corndog
Would've could've should've. Woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof woof.
#answer folklore lpss role pwease daddy
bttws because my god i sobbed when she played that but also i wish she mashed up at least once
#answer 3 sad virgins xx
wcs made it straight into top 3 of all taylot songs back then - and it still stays there.
The lyrics were so heartbreakingly relatable, it felt so good to have a song that spills the feelings out I couldn't talk about for years
& while I love a lot of the songs on the midnights album it's my 2nds least favorite album of hers
I loved the - unofficial- idea of it being about sleepless nights in different eras of her life, tho!
dear reader. its not just a song for me, its a letter to me, a letter than assures me that everything will be fine, that i will be okay. this song, helped me go through my worst period and i will forever be grateful for this song. its not just a song, its everything. so yes, i love this song with every fibre of my being ❤️
#folklore lps role pls danny<3
i love the great war! 'cause i survived "the great war" 🙂
#answer karma believer thx 🙂
wcs is the best track on midnights because it encapsulates taylors emotional depth and lyrical brilliance in a way that resonates deeply with listeners. her ability to convey complex feelings, like the pain of missed opportunities and the bittersweet ache of what could have been, feels both universal and uniquely personal. The track's production, with its haunting instrumental and intimate vocal delivery, amplifies its message. the mature reflection on how she was shaped by her past choices adds a layer of complexity, showing how she has evolved both as an artist and a person. while the other songs on midnights are fantastic, wcs is superior.
i think that paris is the best track on midnights because the lyrics are super pretty and also its very relatable to me rn and i LOVE listening to it sm like i listen to it everyday atleast 10 times!!!!!!!!
#answer delicate tay pls!
(my fav midnights track changes a lot because there's so many) BUT i absolutely adore PARIS and WCS i feel like they're not appreciated enough as bonus tracks. they deserve more hype
#answer karma believer
i personally really like the midnights album, i feel like every song has a own story to listen to and still is matching the midnights theme and vibe. for my favorite track i’d have to go with paris because i love listening to it and just the whole vibe of that track. it’s a song i find myself repeating a lot and i enjoy the concept of it!!
#answer midnights the til dawn edition please 🫶🏼
I love the whole midnights astetic, how it tells a story with each of the songs, but if i had to choose my favorite bonus track, it would be a tie between the great war and paris, but i enjoy paris more
#answer midnight the till dawn edition please and thank you
i love the great war so much over (warning hot take incoming!) wouldve couldve shouldve because i dont really connect to wouldve couldve shouldve as much as the great war there is just something about it that makes me love it so much more i like the aesthetic for each song by itself because it just help you understand it more
#answer can i have the corndog role please and thank you so much i am going to miss compolls!
Wcs, it's honestly one of taylor's best songs of all time
#answer zombie tay
Has to be Would've Could've Should've, the lyrics are incredible and the production/instrumental is like my exact vibe #answer 3 sad virgins please!
def the great war for me… but wcs is a rlly close 2nd and was in my top 5 tracks this year (Spotify wrapped). im just to big of a thg fan to not pick the great war
#answer may i have the corndog role please? :)
The Great War 100% it tells a full story and it's such a good song to listen to. Midnights is an overall amazing album too! the midnights era is perfect but i wish it had it's own tour (but we got the eras tour!! which is even better!) #answer delicate tay
Dear Reader is my favorite. In one lyric she says “ I prefer hiding in plain sight” which most people think is her disappearing from the public but which I actually think is her hiding her true self behind the mask of being a celebrity.
“To a house not a home, all alone, because nobody’s there.” Refers to her feeling alone because whilst people know celebrity Taylor very few people know the real her.
I think it’s a very important message to the fans saying that you never know what someone else is going through.
I feel like this is a relatable song for a lot of us. Cause no matter who we are, we have our own secret thoughts that we hide from the world so nobody really knows the true you.
even though dear reader is like the best closer track ever (we're excluding long live because its unfair) I need to say The Great War because I am the n1 TGW stan.
The Great War has one of Taylor's best songwriting mixed with emotional rides. The story told in blurry imagery of war and midnight, everything is just so perfect. I love TGW to death.
"Somewhere in the haze got a sense I'd been betrayed" is the best line she's ever written I do not care. The callback to Lavender Haze and the way she sings it and the production almost punching me in the guts makes this moment a 13/10 masterpiece I sobbed. Then the whole verse after "We could plant a memory garden, say a solemn prayer, place a poppy in my hair" UUGH THIS SONG IS SO GOOD I CAN'T 😭 I can write a 1000 page essay on it. I can't believe it didn't make the standard album!! It's so sleepless midnight coded and it's so good. Aaron ily
#answer Midnights til dawn please! I want my role icon and color to be that if possible, I don't want the prophecy anymore 💙
the midnights whole as an aesthetic is really dreamy, and something scratches my brain about that. Listening to her 13 sleepless nights marathon, and my excitement when the til dawn and 3 am tracks came out. My favorite 3am track is definitely “ would’ve could’ve should’ve “ because it conveys a message that no matter how long ago things were, the memory is still going to be there in the back of your mind. The lyrics are also just really beautiful throughout the whole song and I really like that
#answer corndawg
Would’ve could’ve should’ve and the Great War. Also is hits different supposed to be on that? Or is that just till dawn
My fav 2 are wcs and tgw. Personally I prefer tgw Great War because it feels kinda magical and so amazing.
#answer delicate tay
cause I love glitch so much its my song and I sing that song in the shower
#answer corndog
I need corndog
i need #corndog role thanks
#answer corndog
I love song as Glitch, WCS, BTTWS, etc. But my FAVOURITE is The Great War.
Its such a vibe and gives me all the aesthetic of midnight
The second the song starts, the chords in the keyboard 🎹 always get me, I just love the sound of that keyboard, it’s like something different. It gives me the whole aesthetic of Midnight.
Taylor also starts singing at the first second, so that makes you react fast, idk how to explain it.
Also I love the “Uh-huh, Uh-huh” Taylor does in the chorus.
AND ANOTHER THING I LOVE FROM THE SONG IS THE VERSE “It turned into something bigger” that part of the song gets me every time, I js love it sm
pls don’t remove my no test role
#answer corndog
I like bttws because its a very emotional song for me and I can relate to the lyrics on a deep level, and it makes me cry. #answer corndog please
I love the 3am songs, my top 3 would probably be the Great War (I’ll never get tired of this one), wcs, and high infidelity. The beat and her voice sound gorgeous on the Great War and the songwriting is just perfection, the “diesel is desire, you were playing with fire” part lives in my head rent free
The crimson clover reference is also amazing and honestly the whole second verse too
And yeah the midnights aesthetic is on point, the anti hero MV is one of my favourites of hers and she looks absolutely beautiful in the lavender haze one
wcs just hits at the right spot
#answer 3 sad virgins
wouldve could've should've is amazing, so smart, well produced, well thought through and overall so GOOD
also tgw and dear reader
