Indie folk always

evermore is her best album, and the songs truly fit her voice and story writing. The creativity went hard with folklore and evermore. However, if she tries to bring that same sound into pop like midnight or TTPD, then it doesn’t do that well, my favourite is folklore, evermore folk indie sound. But I think she has done enough with it, and I would need the newer releases in any other sound.
#answer ctf role and make it above this one pls uwu daltiepoo

Indie folk. Evermore and folklore are her best two albums ever and i dont think she’ll ever beat that. The lyrics and the way she sings the lines in beautiful and comforting(?) while i love her pop songs i feel more connected to folkmore and the less poppy songs in her other albums

country. Change my mind. Especially the stolen albums. I really loved the way taylor would convey emotion because her voice was a bit younger. I already can’t imagine the massive difference of debut tv, but i still will always be a fan of her country era

#answer folklore lpss

While I love any genre Taylor does, pop has always been and will always by my favorite by far. I love the energy, the catchiness, and the joy of it (or the bittersweetness of it because we all know Taylor loves to pair upbeat music with heartbreaking lyrics). My favorite pop songs by Taylor are Cruel Summer, Style, Out of the Woods, and Getaway Car.

i listened to folklore yesterday after a while and oh my god it really is something else. she hones in on her lyricism and can really focus on her strengths

indie folk bc her lyrics and just her voice makes everything so much more beautiful. other artists i listen to have that kinda sound and its just so pretty

indie/fold, the sister albums are perfection, i never listened to that genre before but those albums completely changed my mind. i feel like it amplifies her lyricism, while her lyrics are great no matter what she's doing, some lyrics just wouldn't work in say a pop album. i think it suits her voice as well, it allows her to go lower than normal while still having such beautiful long higher notes in epiphany for example. also aaron dessner's production is stunning and im so glad she brought him back for the anthology, its the only album that rivals folkmore for me tbh. but i love pop and country too

it’s really hard for me to choose because i love pop, but i have to say indie/folk because folklore and evermore have such amazing songs that are so heartfelt to me and some of my fav songs r on those albums so it’d only be right!! they’re the only albums in that genre i listen to, which is why pop is close 2nd😭

indie folk because I like indie folk and Taylor has done an extremely good job when she wrote folklore and evermore. it’s also the album that made me listen to Taylor

indie folk because while i believe she fits every sound she’s done almost perfectly, folkmore felt like her most genuine albums and really showcased her best songwriting. it feels like that genre is perfect for her.

for me it's her indie folk era. i love the softer production style mixed with the poetic lyrics that you almost need a dictionary for (ahem the lakes). also evermore is my fav era of hers so ofc i gotta go with my girl evermore

For me it is indie folk, it's one of her best works of art. The way folklore expresses the story-telling of a whole love triangle through songs, poetry, and melody and evermore making connections and emotions through its beautiful lyricism and melody

i would say pop because her 1989 album is just the perfect coverage and collection of iconic pop songs that not only stick with you but really define the whole vibe with their elements. for me it is my favorite album and a whole era of pop music that’s why i have to go with 1989 🩵

Pop because my mom showed me taylors music when I was really young like Ikywt and sio but she also showed some of taylors country songs like our song and tomg but I liked the pop ones better and after hearing taylor make komh in the studio I fell in love with her music once again and it made me a swiftie so that is why I love the pop music more

indie-folk for sure. from the beauty and poetry of her songwriting, to the mesmerizing production, folk-more is the most unique work from Taylor in my opinion. to this day, I wish we got a third installment but I'm happy for what we have now! P.S aaron getting the spotlight on evermore was amazing :D

def pop !! if there was a country-pop option i would’ve picked that too cause tbh im obsessed with that era (red, treacherous, the last time, the very first night, basically all of red and speak now) but i also love the indie-folk cause evermore is such a healing album to listen to ahhhhh

#answer do you guys still have the eras tour role

#

debut paved the way for all of her music like it or not. it's everything taylor is made of that has gotten her to this point. the raw first sound of her very first era as a music artist is unforgettable. It's not complicated and it's not depressing or sad it's just pure memories that have paved the way for her whole music career

it’s about the way you feel when you listen to this album. Why listen to songs about your latest heart wrenching breakup.

You can listen to an album that might make you feel like you’re driving in a truck down a dirt road with the pretties sunset you’ve ever seen in the distance.

This all being said if you don’t like country music I feel it’s unfair to place a rude comment or hate towards this album. Only people who truly like country will understand the high ranking that debut has for them

I love her pop songs and a lot of the twangy heavy guitar country songs too (esp I bet you think about me, Tim McGraw, no body no crime) but her voice in folk music is SO beautiful, like she sounds like an angel in seven, safe and sound, willow etc and the production is so rich

I dont get enough time to listen to music throughout the day so I usually sleep whilst listening to music so folkmore is the best thing to listen to. I also regularly listen to girl in red, chappell roan, and bon iver for the same reason. this is why ill vote for indie folk. i never knew how much i really listened to it until i realised folklore and evermore were my top 2 albums on stats.fm and 3 of my top 5 spotify wrapped songs were from the two albums. this year, many of my classmates were assholes and bullied me for being "weird", even people i used to think were my friends... so, songs like mtr and cardigan (both showcasing betrayal in some form) became my go-to songs whenever i decided to dive into another listening spree.
